I've done many of Bruce's courses. His material is always relevant and very well presented. Bruce is a brilliant trainer, highly recommended. One point of critique: I am doing this course in 2025, and I think it was recorded in 2016. There have been quite a few changes in Excel since 2016, and some of the material is outdated. Maybe time to re-record some of the session using the lates Excel version?

Step by step overview of the various applications of Excel, with example spreadsheets, and clear explanations. I found it helpful in filling in gaps in my knowledge of Excel, and have already started to benefit from what I have learnt by being able to apply my new found knowledge in using Excel.

I have struggled with using Excel except for the common uses of adding and putting in information and then fighting to get it to show me the results I want. After going through this class and using the techniques and tips, my job is much simplified and has a better appearance. I have learned that there is more to this program than a paper calculator. The course brushed up on my basic knowledge of excel, all be it a little out of sync, and gave me the insight on how to apply some of the vast array of tools in managing large spreadsheets and data. Probably a small oversight on my part, that I didn’t select a Mac based excel lesson program, however 95% of the key strokes and tool bars were the same on a Mac. I would like to seen some lessons on “Dash-Boards” however, I guess Excel can be exhaustive, and what one considers important is subjective. Any way many thanks, learned a lot, and will keep as a reference tool.

The instructor was very knowledgeable, the course was very well done, and was more of an overview of just about every aspect of Excel. I have some experience with Excel but was amazed by all the time saving shortcuts, and parts of Excel I did not know existed. Each section was short and to the point, but I felt it would have been better if real world projects were included with the course to help reinforce what was learned. My only complaint was I felt the instructor went way too fast at times and was very difficult to follow along, even at .5 speed, forcing me to rewind and pause, several times, and the reason I deducted 1/2 a star.

Microsoft Excel 2016 Master Class: I found the class provides the correct structures to professionally use Excel 2016. Coverage given to data formatting through to advanced topics of table database capabilities and printing, makes the course a strong data management resource. The new features within Excel 2016 are impressive. My skills have definitely increased from the Master Class. The beginner to advanced format offers a great balance for learning and refreshing skills throughout the program.

I thought I knew the "basics" but decided to start right from the beginning and it proved to be very beneficial as I found something in almost every lecture that I didn't know. Excellent course but not overly detailed; it's a good course for moderate/intermediately intensive excel use. I took the course for work and it was exactly what I was trying to get, with a little extra. Bruce is a super friendly guy and his explanations and presentation style is endearing but not mushy. Clearly a man with experience. All in all fantastic course from beginner to late intermediate excel usage.
