This is a very thorough walk through of Excel for an intermediate user. I consider myself to be intermediate, but I still learned quite a few new things and tips. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to brush up on Excel or just learn some new techniques in a VERY affordable way. The class is well put together by an excellent and articulate instructor!

Great course. Covers all of the details of creating and using basic sheet and workbook defaults. An excellent introduction to templates and macros. No programing required. Excellent first / introductory course. Great Examples. Easy to follow. Clear, concise explainations.

I don't use excel that often - so this was an advance course for what I need to know. I will look for a more basic course in Excel. However, I did find it very interesting and I think Bruce is a very good instructor

Beyond the first three chapter about "THEMES", "CUSTOM TEMPLATES" and "CELL STYLES" there is almost nothing really new or something you couldn't discovery playing around with the tool. I think "THEMES", "CUSTOM TEMPLATES" and "CELL STYLES" are very confusing tools in Excel, so I think the author could have spent more time on those items, giving more real life examples and showing how they fit together. The course ends superficially covering too many things and nothing in really great detail.

Bruce clearly reveals and demonstrates the hidden power of Excel when creating bespoke templates for workbooks, sheets and styles removing the mystery of how they work and saving hours of repetitive work. He then shows how to make custom views of worksheets and customise the Quick Access Toolbar and the Ribbon and explains how to avoid a bug when opening a saved version of the customised ribbon. Simple macros are then used to bring all of these together. This has given me new skills and valuable insights into combining powerful functions together to quickly achieve professional results.

You can't go wrong with this course! It teaches what it promises. I have used Excel more than a decade and but I've still learned plenty of tricks following this course, it was fun.

I have undertaken several Excel courses and to some extent they overlap - but not this one. Right from the start I have learned some new features that were hidden. Bruce is a fantastic instructor who explains in simple terms that makes learning fun. I would certainly recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning Excel

I consider Bruce Myron to be one of the finest teachers I've had the fortune to learn from. His clarity is unique and you'll come away with knowledge that gives you an entirely new perspective on Office. He has done several other courses on Excel and Access and I hope Microsoft is grateful to Bruce (and to Udemy) for their amazing contribution !
