Very clear overview and introduction to the what and why of Data Science without going in to too much detail of the how. Pitched at the right level for someone just starting out in the field.

It is a good introductory course. In the end I was slightly irriitated by constantly using R, and at times going too deep into the topics.

As an introduction, this is magnanimous. Its direct and clear with good transitions between topics. The author is very clear and speaks well on his opinions and the facts. Be prepared to understand the application of programming principles, math models, and statistics.

This was a very good overview of the different aspects of data science. As an experienced engineer wanting to get into this field it was what I was looking for. I liked the speakers speaking voice and cadence. It was easy to listen to.

Excellent introduction. Being new to the subject I can't say how comprehensive it was - I wouldn't know if it covered all the rights bases or not - but it seemed to be a thorough introduction and gave a really good overview of the topic. I was particularly impressed by the clarity and professionalism of the presenter and the quality of the graphics throughout.

I'd highly recommend this for beginners.
