Learning Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) (Udemy.com)

This course is quite well designed for beginners. The presenter seems to be an experienced developer and trainer. Someone considering this course should also consider:
-It seems to be quite an old course, referencing MS Studio 2015.
-The presentation is extremely basic, just black on white text, except for the demonstrations.
-The presenter is not introduced and we don't learn their name or anything about them.
-The presenter often refers to features as something new whereas they are commonly found in other products.
-Last time I checked, there had been no active discussion in the Q&A since shortly after the course was released some years ago.

it was very good start for my career, i learned the basic things about WPF.

First of all I think this is a decent course and a good teacher.
I had two main issues with this course.
Firstly, I didn't feel that the course was "hands-on" enough. The teacher at the first half of the course is doing a good job explaining XAML and WPF, though we did not apply these things (in the form of exercises or examples). Examples were almost exclusively for the XAML part and the course is heavily focused on the layout part (design) rather than the functionality part (C#) . Instead we were mainly prompted to play around with those things ourselves, which is always a good advice nonetheless.
Secondly, and that was my main issue, when we started setting up the application, getting "hands-on", the code was copy-pasted from an existing file, which was the worst thing for me personally. I think that it would be a lot better to type the code and explain along the way the "how's" and "why's" than just copy-pasting and saying "We're gonna copy this code right here" when "this right here" is not shown on the video and you have to guess what was copied. It was confusing and quite frustrating to be honest, so ended up just watching the rest of the videos, which again for me personally, is the worst.
I believe that learning a new technology is easier when I'm applying and typing what I'm being taught.
Other than those two things, up until section 9, it was quite educational for a beginner like me wanting to start learning WPF (mostly learned about XAML with this course), but not something that you could not learn with free resources to be honest.

Very clearly explained with every detail. Suitable from beginner developer to experienced wich is migrating from WinForms to WPF. Here is clearly explained how XAML maps to C# code.
Currently very happy about the course.

it's slowly started but good material comes up later part of the course. I liked it.

Great match for my current skillset. Learning new tricks that are going to make my apps look better and more professional. Enjoying the training.
