It is almost the end of another great year, so that means it is time for a version update from Marvelous Designer.
Our fall 2018 update takes us from version 7.5 to version 8. I've studied the new software and manual to locate over 20 changes that I want to show you.
In this course I'll take you through every single change, from the smallest menu update to the brand new Sculpt mode. You'll learn what the updates mean to your workflow and how to take advantage of the newest tools and features.

Lori Griffiths loves to sew in the real world and virtuallyusing Marvelous Designer.
She purchased MD version 2 to illustrate realworld sewing techniques many years ago. She was so excited about theprogram that she began sharing her knowledge online through her YouTube channel.
In2016 she authored and published the first, and only, book available on Marvelous Designercalled UnderstandingMarvelous Designer: A guide for CG Artists.It coveredevery feature and function of MD version 6. Since then, she's released the book as a web-book, so it is always up-to-date.
She has been awarded the CLO Marvelous Designer Evangelist title for 2016and 2017. This award is no longer available as of 2018, but CLO continues to support her in her quest to teach their software.
Marvelous Designer is a challenging program for people who don't sew and Lori's greatest joy is helping CG artists become proficient and successful.

A great followup to her main MD course!

I just finished the course and found it did well in reflecting the updates to Marvelous Designer 8. Also, I like the fact at the end of the course there is a project you can complete to reinforce what you learned.

Lori is a great educator! I look forward to other taking other courses created by her in the future.

This was a well put together course on what I could expect from the MD8 Upgrade. What tools there where previously and what they could do differently now. Including tools that were replaced by better ones and those with more useful parameters.
