Course Description

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please note if you've already taken my course, How to Market Yourself as a Coach or Consultant, this course covers the same Branding process, however, it goes into more detail and includes additional exercises. Please be aware there is overlap between the two courses.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Branding is NOT just for big corporations.

Branding is also not just for packaged products like toothpaste and laundry detergent. Or high-priced products like automobiles and electronics.
Branding is crucial for coaches and consultants, too.
It can mean the difference between your business succeeding or you continuing to struggle to get clients and stay afloat.
If you don't want to be fighting to stand out among a sea of other service professionals in your category, you need a unique and compelling brand to set you and your business apart.
I've been branding businesses of all shapes and sizes for nearly 30 years, including:
  • Large Corporations
  • Small Businesses
  • Start-up's
  • Non-profit organizations
  • Independent service professionals (coaches, consultants, and other experts)
I developed a step-by-step proprietary branding process that I've been using with my private consulting clients for years. And it works!
In this course I share that exact process with you.
Don't settle for being just another [fill in the blank] coach, consultant, or service professional.
I want you to think about something for a moment...
  • What if you had a name that clearly communicated exactly what you do for people?
  • A name no one else was using?
  • A name that was interesting, intriguing, and really stood for something?
  • A name that truly represented who you are and what you stand for?
  • A name that you love and are excited to put on your business?
  • Can you imagine what that might do for your business?
It's time to step out of the generic marketing trap. And that's exactly what this course will help you do.
I encourage you to watch the Free Preview Videos so you can see all the benefits of branding yourself and your business, as well as my experience in branding. Branding is what I do. In fact, I was doing it long before it became trendy.
This course includes:
  • Video lessons that explain every step of the process
  • Handouts and worksheets to help you apply the process to your business
  • Real-world examples of brands created by other service pro's just like you to inspire you and get you excited about creating your brand
  • Interviews with service professionals who have successfully branded themselves so you won't feel like you're in this alone
  • Free and low-cost resources so you can research, create, implement, and protect your brand without breaking the bank
If you're tired of having to work so hard to stand out, get attention, and get clients, this course is for you.
If you see other coaches or consultants out there with great brand names and you've always wished you had one too, now is your chance.
If you've ever been confused by exactly what branding is, or how to brand yourself effectively, this course will answer all of your questions and walk you, step-by-step, through the very same process I take my private consulting clients through, for a fraction of the price.

Who this course is for:
  • Independent Coaches, Consultants, and other Experts who make a living selling their expertise or serving clients with their expertise

Debbie LaChusa has 35 years of experience working in marketing, 22 of those years in her own businesses. In 1998, after spending 13 years working in advertising agencies, and as a vice president for an international non-profit, Debbie opened her first business, DLC Marketing, a virtual marketing communications agency. After taking that business to six figures, Debbie decided to take her experience and expertise online.
In 2004, she launched 10stepmarketing, an internet-based marketing training and coaching business. Despite being her first online venture, Debbie also took that business to six figures.
In 2012, she created her third six-figure business, The Business Stylist, an online coaching/consulting/training business focused on helping independent coaches and consultants successfully package, brand, market, and sell their services. In 2013, she launched her online course brand, The Business Stylist Marketing Academy. To date, more than 19,700 students in 164 countries have enrolled in Debbie's online courses.
In 2018, Debbie retired The Business Stylist, although her online courses remain available online, and followed inspiration to her next venture: moving to the mountains of Western North Carolina and writing her book, The Following Inspiration Experiment. After an 18-month sabbatical, Debbie re-opened her coaching services in 2019 and evolved her brand to what it is today, Follow Your Inspiration, with the intention of helping others navigate the pat

Debbie thank you for showing us how it's done. Not only did I learn a lot of practical information about branding, but through your example I learned just as much about designing and delivering a 5-star Udemy course. Thank you! Have already signed up for another of your classes.

By Douglas Cheron

In depth information and a very informed teacher who goes into detail step by step with you.

This course gives me a logical model to figure out the blurry concept of Brand and Branding. However, the lectures and handouts are too obsolete. For example, the method, which speaker helps students to distinguish themselves from others, is used when I was senior high school student(about 2008).

To be honestly, the course is useful, especially to the person who wants to create a excellent resume or CV. About Business? Maybe. But I am not a founder of a start-up company. So maybe I will try the method which teacher taught in this course in future.

This is an excellent work done in terms of course content accompanied by plenty of meticulously prepared resources material incl. case studies interviews sharing the real-world experiences in branding.

Debbie LaChusa, the course creator, teaches in an easy understandable and yet straight-to-the-point way her well proven concept how to find an authentic brand that captures your business efforts and gives your message much stronger voice.

Indeed, a very inspiring action-by-action process leading to real results! This course helped me uncover my very own new brand platform. Thank you very much, Debbie!

I have learned a lot from this class. Some of the exercises are the same as the ones in another branding class. The other class was oriented towards a workplace and this one is geared towards your own business which is what I am interested in.

I had given this course 5 stars, but as the course progressed I wasn't able to get the courses to play during the brainstorming sections. It would jump through them and when I would restart them, the class would go to the end as if I had watched it. The content is great and the class is very beneficial. This is my second class with Debbie.

Thank you for inspirating ideas and views. What I appreciate most is the structure of course. Many people have basic knowledge about brand, but the course can upgrade it to higher level and use it effectively.

By Sadied Dachs

So far, this is a good match. Thank you.

By Jodi Henson

Too much useless information for the first 30 minutes. Don’t need the dictionary definition of branding and then to be told it’s not correct. Waste of time.

By LoriDawn

It was okay, not as much in depth as i was wanting. The intro and outro music go old REALLY fast.

By Azzam Osman

That intro before and after each video very annoying .

By Muhammed Sageer Sani

i just want to be able to brand myself

Lessons could have definitely been condensed into less steps.

Also this course echoes other ones by same teacher (the marketing one as well as the signature program; I feel like I'm hearing the same things at least 3 times) - I pay for new things to learn, not repeated information.
