Course Description

With a programming based approach, this course is designed to give you a solid foundation in the most useful aspects of Image Processing in an engaging and easy to follow way. The goal of this course is to present practical techniques while avoiding obstacles of abstract mathematical theories. To achieve this goal, the image processing techniques are explained in plain language, not simply proven to be true through mathematical derivations. Still keeping it simple, this course comes in different programming languages so that students can put the techniques to practice using a programming language of their choice. This version of the course uses the C ++ programming language.
By the end of the course you should be able to develop the 2-D Discrete Convolution algorithm in C++, develop Edge-Detection Algorithms in C++, develop Spatial Filtering Algorithms in C++, compute an Image Histogram and Equalize it in C++, to develop Gray Level Transformation Algorithms, suppress noise in images, understand all about operators such as Laplacian, Sobel, Prewitt, Robinson, even give a lecture on image processing and so much more. Please take a look at the full course curriculum.
REMEMBER : I have no doubt you will love this course. Also it comes with a FULL money back guarantee for 30 days! So put simply, you really have nothing to loose and everything to gain. Sign up and lets start manipulating some pixels.
Who this course is for:
If you are an absolute beginner to image processing , then take this course.
If you are a seasoned programmer and want to get a quick guide to developing image processing algorithms in C++, then take this course.
If you are a university student taking the theory of image processing in school, then take this course to learn how the theory is applied practically.

Good image processing concepts explanation

By Mahesh Raut on 6/8/2020

Yes

He should explain well the structure of a BMP image. What is the header, what is the color table, how does the code knows which bytes to read from the image (because we are not giving in any point any king of offset to indicate where the color table starts, where the pixel information start, etc).

You'll learn how to do some good things, but you'll have to take some time to consider the underlying mathematics for the exercises and why are are what they are. That part is not explained. This is billed as a C++ course but about half of it is just straight C.

Math concepts behind the image processing are not explained.

The instructor responds to my messages, I appreciate that.

it is good but there is little explanation. but unique course in the web

By Brendelina on 4/12/2020

This course helped me a lot with my school project. I had a project written in C/C++ and needed a way to perform some image processing routines without using python or matlab. I am glad to report that the instructor came to my rescue. Some times some of the algorithms are not thoroughly explained but after watching the videos a number of times I was able to understand them. I will recommend this course to anyone who wants to perform image processing without writing python scripts.

Good course for beginners of image processing. I am already familiar with some of the concepts, the parts I find most valuable are the cpp implementations.

By Nikhil Kumar Singh on 3/26/2020

For a beginner it's very good course I feel, however it can be improved by explaining the filtering algorithms.

By Dismas Ndubuisi Ezechukwu on 3/16/2020

I will say I learnt some things in the course, but I was expecting more.
I expected more explanation on the image processing algorithms and not just writing code without explaining why it is so. The codes actually worked but I can't explain why, he only tries to explain the code whenever he is talking about programming language syntax and not the semantics of why such operations gives a certain result in the image.
The course is good only for exposure, but I didn't get the skills I was looking for. Also, there are no class works or exercise to stimulate the learner, there are few but not well structured.
