Der Kurs selber ist gut, allerdings basieren die Beispieldateien auf alten Frameworks.

Nice, friendly introduction to the Express basics, which eases the initial learning curve. This is essentially a course that you can go through in an hour or so with 2x playback and focusing on the bits that are interesting to you.

In my case, the view / Jade content was not relevant as I wanted to focus more on API development.

To make this 5 stars I would have loved to get some content on API data validation as well as more real-world examples on writing APIs with async flows, such as accessing databases or 3rd party services.

The course covers what it set out to do but there's nothing on databases, password encryption, testing, etc. The instructor is obviously very knowledgeable and experienced. Material that's covered is very good. Compared to other Node/Express courses I've taken, however, I feel like there could've been much more.

I am halfway through the course when writing this. This is definitely not a beginner course, you will need previous web and coding experience. The lecturer is quick and to the point and expects you to go through documentation. I honestly wish the course would be updated though, there is a lot in here that has been deprecated and will require the student to figure that out on there own, which is always a good learning experience. A real gem of a course if you don't like been spoon fed.
