With a strong technical expertise and a taste for design, I've had the opportunity to lead teams of creative people through development of innovative projects.
I'm passionate about learning and training, I started giving training early and have been involved in training certification programs. When you work in this industry, sharing your knowledge is not only a duty, it's the opportunity to learn even more.
I'm a self-taught developer myself. I work with Unity since 2011, and was very lucky to meet with mentors who taught me a great deal about OOP. That's a lot to learn about when your background is not in engineering, though, I figured that if I could do it, anyone can.

The video gave a general idea what I needed to download but did not go into where and how to find those resources. Of course I am resourceful and figured it out myself, but the videos are too broad. Need to dive deep on each step. Hopefully it will get better as the class progresses.

great tutorial clear and concise

Overall, I enjoyed the course. Of course, with Unity's 2019 XR Plug-In Management system replacing the XR Settings, had to do a little research to pull in Google Cardboard. Perhaps an update page for the newer versions of Unity would be helpful. Learned some more about VR with Unity. Was a little disappointed that we didn't create a Maze or shooter in the VR Lobby part, but the VR Helicopter, VR Vehicle, and the VR Navigation were nice additions. Would be nicer if the Helicopter and vehicle were in video formats, but the text pages were easy enough to follow.
All in all, gives me at least a starting point for handling the basics of VR.

So far this has been great. I'm learning allot. :)

By Aditya Sarvankar on 5/23/2020

no, it wasn't a good match at all, I want to learn and know what and why am I doing something, this just feels like a walkthrough of a person using unity and not really teaching

Very descriptive and helpful. Baby steps all the way through, which is what I need, as this is all very new to me.

So far so good!

I haven't completed this course yet but I have been very impressed with what I have learnt so far. I am sure I will be able to improve my VR walkthroughs by the time I finish this course.

By Ben Hadley on 11/16/2019

Some good basics but falls off towards the end with pre-given scripts and no videos. Nothing with interacting with objects either. Could be good for people just learning but is not applicable to any current VR standards for a game
