Descriptions of the theory are good but, I think the lectures are outdated for recent versions of Unreal Engine, so be wary.

Very basic and Low on Content

By Luiz Augusto Melo on 10/8/2019

This course explain the basic of C++ code of Unreal Engine.
Is very interesting to who don't understanding the Unreal functionality.

By Alejandro Aguilar on 11/26/2018

Very useful and interesting course!
The last section is more oriented to new coders, but still a good idea to refresh those concepts.
A piece of feedback about the main UE4 sessions: on the point in which you start simulating physics on the pills, I had to re-export the blueprint (for both the pill and the spawner class) or the editor would crash. This was not mentioned in the course and blocked me for a while.
Overall great experience! Good job!

Great intro, had some bugs with a newer version but the comments were answered well to help.
Would have loved more content.

By Finn Gates on 8/24/2018

I really liked the first two sections as the instructor talked about what we were doing, did it and then showed how it work and explained why it worked etc etc.
I really did not like the last section as it was a lot of dry theory with no in editor examples to follow along with to show how it could be implemented, ultimately if I wanted theory I could read online.

By Zied Dourai on 8/6/2018

The course is clear and precise. Until then I trained on UE4 in every way I Could. I needed to start. This course allowed me to learn the basics.

Several missing steps, such as #includes.

By Bojan Novakovi on 7/19/2018

There are some mistakes at the first video, you can clearly hear instructor saying same sentence three times. Some Includes were not mentioned and I had to go through the QA to check what's going on. Then QA answers says we should not import World.h and we must, otherwise, it does not work.

By Felix Garcia on 7/16/2018

It has been a course in which I can understand the definitions that each function and everything that we write in the code.

By Jared Llewellyn on 4/7/2018

This is the first course that has helped me understand setting variables properly, and even pointed me in the right direction to find my understanding of pointer variables.

By Robin Fredericksen on 1/11/2018

Overall, this has been a great "quick intro" to UE4. The information is valuable.
NITS to pick:
There are a few careless typos/spelling errors in the presentation materials, but that is OK. No real harm.
The presenter re-uses an existing project rather than starting from scratch, like the viewer. This causes a bit of confusion.
The presentation uses UE 4.15.1 and Visual Studio 2015, neither of which is the latest available today. I had to use UE4.15.3 and Visual Studio 2017 Community (which does no have the same debugging tools).
The tool version differences may or may not have resulted in a strange BluePrint error that left the PillMesh static mesh uninitialized (crashing the editor). It could have been PEBKAC.
As an annoyance, the VS2017 compiler emits warnings about the VS2015 visual studio project files generated by UE4.
Not a huge deal, but these things combined cost me several hours or problem resolution. That would have been faster had the debugging section not been last. ;)
Overall, a valuable experience, but it could have gone a tad more smoothly.
