loved it....eye opening..The only problem was, the photoshop windows, the tool bar and others wasnt displayed in the videos...jxt a little hard to keep up. i really wanted to see the layer bar especially.. bt all the same loved it.

Learning how working from dark to light really helps me focus on values and lighting. I've also learned a few new tricks with skin tones I've never seen before which is super helpful. Overall, this course has helped me in many ways, especially with a more disciplined process from start to finish. I tend to jump all over the place but now I can see why I need to be patient with each stage of the painting. Amazing course.

I liked it. I was almost disappointed with the quality of the video until I switched my play settings to 720p. It was much more clear after that, but I am familiar with photoshop so I could follow along, up to that point. The techniques were solid and the teacher had a down to earth delivery. You could tell he enjoyed his work. Occasionally the audio went hollow when he added in a detail that was left out. I definitely found tips that would enhance my character work and take it to a more refined level. I have watched dozens of speed-painting videos on YouTube and this was a nice look inside the artist's head. I don't regret the purchase, although I came into the course on a steep promotional discount. Lastly, I would have liked to see darker skin tones for more ethnic characters, to see how the instructor would handle the male, female and even a child character. Maybe in the future? ;-)

I feel as If I've learnt a lot from taking this course! It has definitely taught me the basics about creating digital drawings but It has also taught me the importance of lighting in an image, and how much of a difference it can make between a good piece of work and an amazing piece of work.

Doesn't show the Photoshop screen through a lot of it, also as a beginner (which is what he says this is for), I had to get online and look around for what keys translate from Mac to Windows. Didn't say why he chose any colors he did, just takes some orange against cyan and says 'it's chalk' and starts coloring. Boring, monotone voice.

just like any non professional tutorial on youtube, and the "you've gone through this many times in arts school", if thats the case why am i here ?? you are teaching basic concepts, but u expect us to have fundementals.... and your concepts arent exactly digital, they are general concepts... iam dissapointed.
