Learnt some very useful skills during this course and I'm very happy with the results. The course seemed well laid out, it wasn't trying to convey TOO much information, instead you're presented with projects that have a nice balance of variation and repetition in order to really teach you these techniques. Fantastic, looking forward to doing more courses with Hardy.

Excelente curso. Consegui melhorar bastante minha tcnica. Incrvel como alguns conselhos e truques podem fazer com que seu trabalho parea bastante profissional. Nunca vi ningum ensinando de forma mais clara, objetiva e simples. Excelente!

I never learned so much before this course! Thanks Hardy!!!J. Bacca

Es ist ein sehr guter Kurs. Der Autor vermittelt seine Technik zum Malen von Gesichter anschaulich und schrittweise, sodass man gut folgen kann.

This guy makes it look so easy! Great content and really has me thinking about loosening up and working with more fluidity. I am particularly impressed by the economy of this approach too. If this stops me fussing and overworking - then the course is worth the asking price several times over.

The course is awesome, however there's a Gap between someone trying to learn and the level this course offers. There're details like not using the drop tool to pick tones when locking the values I only found out after several attempts and then confirming on the QA section. Also, it would be awesome if there'd be a module indicating somewhat the level of value a section on a face should have and why.... I have attempted the process on the first painting at least 4 times and tho it becomes better everytime it still looks cartoonish.

Another very enjoyable and valuable course by Mr. Fowler. I enjoy his laid back and informative instructional style, and look forward to taking the next course in this series. I would like to see the real speed demos even if voiceover is omitted. Often some of the details of rendering get lost in the time lapse. I'd also really like to see demos with people of widely varying skin tones for a deeper understanding of color variation as it pertains to skin . Great course overall.

What I had been expecting was a bit more on how to properly proportion faces and capture them from different angles. There is some material on the structure of certain facial features but little on how to go about getting that initial sketch to work out. The inking and painting stuff is awesome but it was more of exactly what weve seen in Hardys other courses. Still fun and engaging. If only I could sketch a face.

It was a great class and I'll keep working on everything I learned.

Hardy Fowler is one of the best instructor on digital painting on Udemy *HANDS DOWN*After enrolling on so many courses on digital painting, I can finally say that Hardy Fowler has a very distinct way of teaching and considering a person who couldn't draw or paint, I understand the fundamentals o drawing and can finally paint at least (Waiting for his course on character design). The best part about this course is that the instructor encourages the students to draw and paint themselves rather than providing them with the source files to make things easier so, when you look at Q&A, you will see students with their own creative artwork which is very wonderful to see bc that helps me to evaluate my own work. Also, i would suggest to listen to him very carefully when he talks because trust me, he provides some priceless information about techniques while doing the exercises.I will definitely enroll more of his courses.Cheers.

Hardy provides excellent descriptions. The work is challenging but accessible.

This course has been super helpful in taking my character art to the next level - an excellent course !
