O curso muito bom, mas tem uma abordagem muito "Hands on", que eu no estava esperando. O instrutor tem muita experincia e exige certo conhecimento do aluno, mas ele mostra, em detalhes, todo o processo para fazer retratos, de uma forma bem intuitiva e simples. O curso timo e te ensina muita coisa, mas necessrio alinhar expectativas frente ao nvel do instrutor e do aluno; Hardy muito experiente e consegue desenhar rostos bem detalhados e proporcionalmente corretos em poucos minutos, mas o aluno provavelmente no tem esse conhecimento e vai ter que praticar muito antes de conseguir chegar em um bom nvel de qualidade em cada etapa do processo. Essa prtica de exerccios no exigida pelo professor, espera-se que o aluno tenha isso em mente e tenha autonomia para fazer esses estudos por conta prpria

I am a traditionally trained artist, as well as an experienced photoshop user (for graphic design and photo editing). However, I have never done a painting project in photoshop. I wanted to familiarize myself with the digital workflow without wasting time on experimentation. I wanted to see how an artist uses all the tricks and shortcuts that are specific to this software, but I found youtube tutorials to be a waste of time. This course quickly answered most if not all of my questions. So if you are a professional who wants to quickly learn a new tool, this course will be useful to you. If you are a beginner artist, this course will guide you in the right direction and save you some time. However, if you are inexperienced, don't expect that you will learn to paint convincing faces from this or any other online course. Only many hours of live drawing and a good understanding of anatomy will help you achieve a level of quality similar to Hardy's. This is not an anatomy course.

So far, yes it is. I'm comfortable with the face generally speaking, but this has given my some good practise already

The course just kept getting better and better, with each Project - along with my skills, according to the people around me, most of the time my fiance. :)
I am very happy to have bought this entire course, so now I am one step closer to actually releasing some awesome art! Thanks for the effort! :)

Great course. Reminded me of things I was taught at art school a long time ago. But had never used in my professional career. Great refresher for some things and great to learn some new things. Great teacher.

This course is so strange, at first I felt like even though Hardy explains some techniques and gives a few tips, I was not learning much and was disappointed...But ACTUALLY, I have improved crazily thanks to this course and I guess I've learnt way more than I thought? So I guess that's what's amazing: I didn't feel drowned with information, or bored, or annoyed AT ALL but I've actually learnt so much! Thank you Hardy!!

this course on its own is a really good course no doubt, the teaching is simple, straight to the point BUT if someone have literally no prior knowledge of the fundamentals and painting, they'll have a really hard time following through.
