React, Redux, & Enzyme - Introducing Apps & Tests (Udemy.com)

Visible, clear-cut code, good explanation of tooling for Jest and Enzyme. Hoping to see more complicated use cases, but I'm not finished with the tutorial yet.

Very detail-oriented course. I had already played with jest by reading the documentation, googling, etc and I just found out about the .debug() function. Very helpful!

Course covers only basics of testing. Snapshot testing missing. Three examples are to similar, they should vary in degree or cover different topics.

Creating example two and three from scratch should be faster. Naming tests in ok for simple naming but for teaching should be in line with general conventions and good practices.

Course is ok for for introduction.

starts a bit slow, but then goes into nice detail and structuring of tests. Very well tested ReactComponents, likely more than you would see out in the wild. Some of the parts are a bit too fast, you might have to pause the video to make sure that you are able to keep up with the development and css.

This is the best damn instruction I've ever had. Blows all my prior college courses away, Just last year I spent $15k going to general assembly tech bootcamp full time for 3 months working on React, I also have like 20 plus udemy courses and I've never been able to digest redux before this course. This is amazing.

David has created a wonderful testing course. If you're using React and what not and want to be a better developer, this course is a must. Not only do employers expect you to know how to write tests, but I found that writing tests has helped me to understand how to write better React/Redux code in a testable way.

PROTIP: If you're an experience React dev like me, I skipped building the apps, cloned the repo, and then deleted the tests and followed the test writing portions of the course.

I liked the extra info for a deeper dive. Makes testing easier! Would love a more advanced course as well!

This course taught me how to easy and simple test my react components, redux actions and reducers.

This is a very good course about testing in the React framework. I have yet to find another resource, priced similarly, that covers this information.

The instructor is great. I would've preferred more of a BDD approach rather than writing tests after, but this course covers testing for React applications in greater detail than any other React course on Udemy as of now.
