Course Description

If you know the basics of java and the spring framework, the next thing to do is to keep on practicing! Building apps with real life features is a great next step in your journey to becoming a developer. The main benefits of this is that it sharpens your skills and helps you build your portfolio for prospective employers. In this course, we will build a prototype of a personal project management tool using Spring boot 2.0 in the backend, ReactJS and Redux on the front end.
These are some of the cool things we will work on:
We will build our REST APIs with Spring boot for CRUD operations
We will create our front end using ReactJS and Boostrap
And will use Redux and Thunk to manage the state of our application in the front-end
We will secure our application using JWT tokens

Last but not least we will deploy our application to Heroku's free tier. This is a great opportunity to get practical experience with two amazing technologies that are highly desirable by prospective employers.Who this course is for:
  • Students who have had hands on experience with the basics of Java and the Spring Framework looking to grow their new skills

I was familiar with react and java, the backend module gave me a proper knowledge to continue developing another full stack projects based on rest API. For example I used skills that i learnt here to create simple cms system using angular, spring boot and postgres. Aspects in this course are explained well so i recommend this course for people that want to start develop in this area.

Very good course for students or developers who needs to improve his skills and portfolio. In fact Im more than 3 and a half years of backand JAVA developer and to me was very hopeful to see how things works in completed Fullstack application. Things are described very well from A-Z, so to me was pleasure to be part of the course.

This is a good course which I recommend if someone wanna learn how to integrate Java API and React. I just have some recommendations that may be good if you are going to create other courses:
1. Some videos have 20 minutes or more and are too long.
2. At the beginning of the class, explain the achievements of the lecture and in the end, explain what was done.
3. When you are coding, a lot of times the screen is not maximized and we cannot see the whole line of code.
In the end congrats!

Very imporant tips and interesting comparisons with other technologies, that makes easy to understand spring and react development.

Really great description as far as the Java backend is concerned. I bought this course to learn how to program a backend in Java and this class delivered. Only thing that could have made it better is presentation and setup could have been better explained like the mySql lecture which is just a six minute video telling you that you should know it when he could have honestly demonstrated it in that time. But all could be reasonably figured out so not a great concern. I did not even look at the redux stuff
