His accent is an issue, also he’s quite fast and this is definitely not a beginner lesson, otherwise great course

The home work is a good additional challenge. Sadly the git is not offering the "solutions" to that homework aswell. For unexperienced developers it may get harsh to solve certain puzzles when the given examples are rather easy and straightforward (i.e. tests, button uses no sub component while other components to write tests for do)

Lots of basic info on setting up the project is assumed without being explained, using eventEmitter for example without explaining what this is, how to get Git clone on your system etc.

Provides a practical approach to decoupling components from the store and separating HOC components from presentational components among many other important architectural concerns.

So far I am having a lot of fun. It is just the beginning though and I'm sure there will be challenges. This is an incredibly fast course, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. /* After completing */ I stopped during the course and learned more about JavaScript and that helped a lot. If you have to begin React, you might as well begin here but you will need a solid understanding of at least JS syntax before beginning. For me, this course gave me a better understanding of JS. I now have several more React courses to take before I will call myself a React developer. This course is very fast-paced and I loved it!

Great practical examples on how to refactor and modernise a react project and introduce redux. Excellent and necessary information. This is more of an advanced React course.

This course is a very straightforward and thorough. The most important parts are highlighted by the lecturer and the repetitive ones are fast-forwarded (as they should be). The app is simple enough to be understandable by pretty much anyone, no matter how inexperienced. The amount of code is not huge so it's easy to grasp the concept. I'm looking forward to next lessons!!!

As a teacher myself who understands what it is like trying to explain things in a very clear, easy to understand manner, this course did an excellent job. I now confidently build projects using React with Redux!
