Coding is one thing, but creating a user experience is often something I'm not the very best at. I really enjoyed this course, it really captures the user experience and walks you over a lot of important key concepts that you'll certainly earn your moneys worth with learning. I recommend this course to anyone looking to improve UI design and making their site more appealing to the end user.

This a great course, it covers all the necessary for programmers who are specialized in this áreas.

Great information related to design fundamentals and website design. Loved the course, not too fast, not too slow. The speaker is clear and understandable. This course will help any person needing to gain better insight into create excellent website designs. Very impressed with the depth of information given.

So far a good high level intro. But the quality of the delivery is a bit low compared to other courses. Often the audible instruction doesn't match the slide content being presented. So either need to listen with eyes closed or read with sound off to be able to focus. It's still early in the course. Will see if the course itself proves to be a "not so good" example of UX.

Instructor sounded boring and made the content uninteresting and mundane.

Really thorough coverage of UX design. The course is easy to follow and moves along at a good pace. I enjoyed the regular examples the instructor used.

Great Course.

I like how he started to explain why UX has a lot of backgrounds and gave tools from the beginning. The volume of the voice it's kind of low though.

I'm kind of torn about this course. The course did have some good information, and it gave me a pretty good jumping off point for areas to look into further surrounding UX. However, while the first two sections seemed promising, once we got to the third section the organization got a little muddled. The videos seemed to jump back and forth a little too much for me. I kept getting confused, thinking that the subject was done and felt like it left me hanging, but then a video or two later he came back to the same thing.

My other issue was that some of the videos did not seem synced to the audio, so while I was listening to the instructor and watching something else on the screen I started losing the flow of what he was talking about. I was a little disappointed in the organization of the course as a whole, but as I said, there was some good information in there.

The course is very heavy in Adobe Illustrator, so if you are unfamiliar with that software, you may want to get a free trial and play around with it before beginning the course.

This is a great course that covers the complete domain of UX design from analyzing the empathy of the user to a complete clickable wireframe. As good as this course is there is no resources that accompany this course which makes it challenging to follow at times. Unfortunately the most challenging part of following along comes in understanding the problem domain of the case study. You get the gist but not the in depth feel of the problem. Some of the links are also dated but they don't detract as much as the lack of an in depth understanding of the problem domain.

You do get an adequate feel for how to build a complete site map, user flow paths, wireframing, and where to go to build a clickable model. All in all its worth the fascinating journey that Chris takes you on through the entire UX design process.

Keep in mind though to get the most out of this course you will have to construct and analyze the models he builds yourself.

I found this course fascinating and I learned a lot but I'm new to UX design so fro me this course contains great references, a fascinating case study to follow along with, and an in depth overview of how to structure a good UX solution for a website. I'd give it 5 stars but it lacks what I feel are requisite handouts that clarify the problem domain and assist in understanding the philosophy behind the development process.

Instructor is clear and engaging. Course is well organized in a structured manner. A real life example is used through out to analyze and improve the design upon. The most important aspects of the webdesign; content and the transaction flow are very well emphasized.
