Course Description
No other E-learning content tried linking all digital sciences with embedded systems like we did with this 17 hours content.
Starting with FPGA and the VHDL hardware design programming language. specifically from the smallest signal which we call the bit, to building simplified calculation and registration units used in microcontrollers from scratch! And what I mean by scratch is, building it out of basic Logic gates and registers.
Then Moving to AVR uC and the famous Arduino, and building it up to run The famous Realtime operating system (RTOS) in order to run Multi-threading based application.
Then dialing it up a notch and introducing ESP boards to run IoT applications, establishing communication to Node-red, android devices and learning about remote access control.
Closing the whole thing by introducing raspberry pi and Linux. And building up with a basic Python introduction, Neural Networks, before building Embedded Deep learning image processing based models.
And all of that is hands on! No plain theory, no philosophical block of texts explaining useless concepts. Getting your hands dirty, is the my main drive here.

outdated in some places. starts really strong with sections 1-1,0 but not as great coverage of Arduino, IoT, NodeMCU, and RaspberryPi/Deep learning. Good if you are comfortable figuring out newer versions of all this yourself and expanding on the later projects

Course contents should be the skill set of the author as an engineer in embedded environments (FPGA, Arduino and RasberryPi). The presenter shared his understanding to underlying details along the technology stack from bit (transistor) to deep-learning (CNN). Thank you.

An excellent course, I don't give it full marks for the update. For example, in the Raspberry Pi section, alternatives to Putty should be mentioned, such as the direct ssh command, introduced by the old Netscape. Also, config.txt has been moved from /boot to /boot/firmware.

I was searching for a course that contained everything on Embedded Systems and more. This course not only gave me that but also included the basic knowlodge and more advanced stuff on diffrent platforms. It is a great plus that the course is also teaching a variety of programing languages used among different microprocessors and microcontrollers

The instructors presentation was outstanding. This course went from binary logic to deep learning in a relatively short time but did not miss any key concepts. I would highly recommend this course for anyone to get an exposure to the topics.

Overall solid course. Would probably be good learning for intermediate learners, or a solid refresher for advanced learners. Lecturer seems to understand his audience likely has some background in this stuff, and doesn't waste time on explaining steps that are painfully obvious if you have experience in these domains. Gives you just enough to understand the concept, which I appreciate.

Yes, very detailed, although I've had problems with the modelsim_ase\win32aloem module. This is because the installagion program has been modified by manufucturer, so the curso needs an update regarding this point. Fortunately I was being able to correct it by myself.

This is a great course. Having had previous computer and electrical engineering courses in my undergrad, I find that this helps refresh a lot of the concepts that I learned but have not used in a while. I recommend this course for those who want to understand the soup to nuts explanation of embedded systems. The use of Tinkercad is something I used in my undergrad and I am so glad the instructor uses it in this course. I am enjoying all the course content so far, now that I am halfway through and look forward to learning a lot more about embedded systems.

This course has been a lot of fun and is really interesting. I think its obvious the author knows what he is talking about and does a great job at breaking down complex topics. Great Course
