Don't just take my word for it, check out what existing students have to say about my courses:

"Angela is just incredible, awesome and just fantastic in this course. I've never had such an instructor; detailed in every aspect of the course, gives precise explanations, gives you the anxiety to learn etc. She's got that ability to make fun while explaining things for better understanding. I really love this course." - Ekeu MonkamUlrich

"Angela is very thorough without ever being boring. I've taken MANY online courses in my life including my Bachelors and Masters degrees. She is by far the best instructor I've ever had. This course is packed with thousands of dollars worth of great instruction, and paced well enough for anyone to pick coding up and run with it- Thank you!" - J Carlucci

"Love the way Angela explains things. Easy to follow and full of logic. I can say she must spend a lot of energy creating this great course. Thank you and I recommend it to all who's interested in coding!" - Yiqing Zheng

"So far (on my third day) this course has taught me more than I was able to learn in multiple other programming courses. This course is clearly outlined and builds upon itself gradually in an easy to understand way." - Normal Ramsey

"It's a different approach to teaching Web Development. I like that you are given everything possible to succeed from the onset." - Ronick Thomas

The tutor is simply AMAZING, by far the best tutor I have ever had. I would give her 10 stars out of 5. She is not just punching the code and talking to herself, but she is actually explaining things. She keeps on giving really useful hints and she will give you a great load of other references. I always knew what I was doing and why I was doing it. All the extra challenges have just made me remember and understand things better. - Peter Dlugos

Instructor Details

I'm Angela, I'm a developer with a passion for teaching. I'm the lead instructor at the London App Brewery, London's leading Programming Bootcamp. I've helped hundreds of thousands of students learn to code and change their lives by becoming a developer. I've been invited by companies such as Twitter, Facebook and Google to teach their employees.

My first foray into programming was when I was just 12 years old, wanting to build my own Space Invader game. Since then, I've made hundred of websites, apps and games. But most importantly, I realised that my greatest passion is teaching.

I spend most of my time researching how to make learning to code fun and make hard concepts easy to understand. I apply everything I discover into my bootcamp courses. In my courses, you'll find lots of geeky humour but also lots of explanations and animations to make sure everything is easy to understand.

I'll be there for you every step of the way.

By far most what makes this course special is the instructor. She is so engaging and motivation. Also, I am overall very impressed with your teaching skills and also that you are able to explain the background and context very well, which will matter for the people if they don't have experience with one thing but they need to understand it, at least more or less, to progress further. Right now all of my other courses that I take are incomparable with this one, because you are simply doing the best work. THANK YOU!

This is the best course for someone who want to start from beginning, It is design in such a way that you learn by applying the concept each day you get new challenges and by end of course you have developed a thinking ability that is required in coding. Well i have watch other course before and they were just about remembering syntax like math's formula without knowing their use, but this course shows a way you can create something beautiful/exciting with such simple concept.

By Khawlah Shahid on 7/8/2026

It was great, just could use a bit more explanation instead of testing later in the course.

This course has been an amazing experience so far. It explains Python in a very clear and practical way, making difficult concepts much easier to understand. I really like that the lessons are project-based, because it helps me practice immediately instead of just watching theory. The instructor is clear, organized, and motivating. As someone learning Python step by step, this course has helped me build confidence and actually enjoy the process. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Python seriously and in a structured way.

So far, my experience with Udemy has been very positive and educational. I started using it to improve my knowledge and learn new skills, especially in programming and technology. One thing I like most is that I can learn at my own pace without feeling pressured. The courses are well organized, and many instructors explain concepts step by step, which makes difficult topics easier to understand. I have been able to practice what I learn immediately through exercises and projects. Another advantage is that I can access the courses anytime and from anywhere, making it convenient for my schedule. Although some courses require extra practice outside the videos, I believe the platform provides a strong foundation for self-learning. Overall, Udemy has helped me become more confident in my learning journey, and I look forward to taking more courses and improving my skills further.

I had always wanted to become a developer. Over the years, I started learning programming multiple times, but I lacked the patience and discipline to stay consistent and actually finish what I started. Before beginning this course, I made a genuine decision that this would be a turning point for me. I committed myself to studying every single day because I knew this was not just another course, it was an investment in my future and a step toward achieving a long-term goal. I found Python's syntax to be very friendly and approachable, which made the learning process enjoyable rather than intimidating. With each completed day, my confidence, motivation and knowledge grew. I started to understand not only the syntax itself, but also how software is built, how systems work and how to approach solving problems. One of the biggest changes I noticed was in the way I think. Instead of asking myself: "What software or application can I find to solve this problem?" to "I can build a solution for myself or for others that solves this problem". During this course, I built several personal projects that simplified my everyday tasks and work routines. I even started developing my own long-term project, which I plan to launch this summer-September. More importantly, this course helped me develop the mindset of a builder and a developer. It gave me the confidence to approach problems by creating solutions rather than searching for them. For anyone who wants to learn Python and more importantly learn how to think like a developer, I can genuinely recommend this course. Thank you, Angela, for creating a course that not only teaches Python, but also inspires students to build, experiment and keep learning.

Writing to share how much I appreciate Angela Yu's, 100 Days Of Code: The Complete Python Pro Bootcamp. In my experience the majority of online courses (anywhere) and books only cover up to the intermediate level. Angela's course goes beyond the beginner level into intermediate and advanced. For example, I wanted to learn about API's. No other course I've perused even mentioned them. This course actually "takes you by the hand" and gets students "up and running" with API's. Suffice to say I am really happy with this course. Thank you Angela for a great course. Thank you Udemy for this very useful learning platform.

“I absolutely loved this course!! I feel like I learned so much and came away with several ideas on how to apply this knowledge in my day-to-day work. I really enjoy the way Angela delivers and explains the lessons. I only have one small negative point to mention: the lack of videos towards the end of the course (up to Section 80). From that point on, starting with the ‘Professional Portfolio’, I think the challenge of having us students find solutions to our own problems is actually a great approach.”

When I first started this course, I honestly felt a bit scared about how things would go. I kept wondering how I would learn Python or build programs like professionals do. I was also really curious about how machines actually work, how colorful IDEs turn code into working models, and how circuits produce those visual outputs on the screen. At that time, I wasn’t even sure I could manage it because all I knew was how to print “hello” in the terminal. But after enrolling, things slowly started to make sense. I began understanding documentation and how everything actually works behind the scenes. The complex tasks that others were doing started to feel less impossible, and eventually I was able to do them too. I even learned to build Flask apps, and my basics became much stronger. I also started thinking differently when something didn’t work. Instead of getting stuck, I began figuring out alternative solutions. Earlier I would struggle with simple things like installing npm packages, but now I can troubleshoot and find workarounds on my own. My mindset changed — now I automatically think, “If this doesn’t work, what else can I try?” Everything I learn now actually makes sense to me. I understand concepts like environments and why we create them. Overall, it was a really great learning journey. Even though it took time, I feel like I’ve covered all the important basics a beginner should know, and I’ve also built quite a few projects along the way.

This course stands out from other Python tutorials I’ve tried. Many courses focus heavily on explaining concepts, which can feel overwhelming for beginners. Angela Yu takes a different approach by emphasizing learning through doing, which made a big difference for me. From the start, the course encourages hands-on practice and project-based learning. Angela started Building projects alongside the lessons helped me understand how Python works in real scenarios rather than just theory. This approach made the learning process engaging and much easier to follow. Coming from a non-programming background, I found this course very accessible and confidence-building. It helped me move from basic understanding to actually writing and thinking like a programmer. Overall, it’s a well-structured and practical course that I would highly recommend to anyone starting their Python journey. I truly appreciate her teaching style and the effort she has put into this course. It has been a great starting point for my programming journey, and I’m very thankful for it. Thanks Angela Yu!
