A lot of information presented quickly; straight and to the point. It’s well explained, also well organized and broken up so you can easily revisit the sections you need to watch over and over for things to sink in. This will cover everything you need to have a basic understanding of all the key elements of stock trading. Enough to get you up and taking baby steps on your own and to be able to converse with people about the stock market and know most of what they are talking about. Great course! Highly recommend!

This course definitely deserves a five star. Why? First, this it's straight to the point, it's packed with concentrated very useful information, well-structured, no "bla bla", no annoying ads. I wanted to learn about investing as a beginner and i found more than i expected. Second, Tom is passionate about the subject, down-to-earth, approachable and it does make a difference as well. Third, there are really lots of useful resources, links and tips. It's called a Guide and it's The Guide indeed. Highly recommended. And appreciated, Thank you, Tom!

I came into this course with No experience to very little knowledge about direct investments or trading. I think this course is valuable to anybody that wants basic fundamental knowledge on how to get started and take it from there. The fact this platforms gives you the freedom that allows you to go at your own pace if your commited to achieving your goals than Tom surely sets you up for success. The bonus is he's accessible to help out with concerns and questions.

I really enjoyed this course. It filled in a lot of gaps in my understanding of trading stocks. I have bought and sold stocks before but never really understood what I was doing. When I first started watching the course I thought it was too basic. However, after getting past the super basic stuff this course filled in a lot of information that I was missing. As of this point I now feel that I have a better understanding of when to get into and out of a position. That is super helpful. That alone makes this course worth taking. I highly recommend this course if you are unsure when you are supposed to buy and sell.

The course is overall a good intro to investing.

I found Tom very informative and the resources he gives throughout this course are all very useful! He also speaks in an attentive and clear way so he kept my attention and I was able to follow almost everything he taught, which says a lot coming from a girl who knew very little about the stock market before this course! I plan on rewatching some of the lessons that I still don't fully understand but I know the informations there so thanks Tom!

The course was, as stated, good for entry level. I have no experience with this topic so the course opened some doors. But not all. There are sections in the course that I still think require a bit more knowledge on the topic. I would have liked to have more downloadable assets - for eg. some downloadable model / template for the journal would have been nice. Also the Technical Analysis is not covered thoroughly, and nothing about how to actually read candle charts. But overall a good course to start on this topic.

This course was really great for a beginning investor because it briefly touches on the foundation information needed to begin understanding the stock market but does not overwhelm the student. The instructor is extremely knowledgeable and not only provides information about resources to use, but also how to properly use the resources. The homework assignments provided help to ensure understanding and the ability to apply the knowledge.

I have zero knowledge of stocks and I feel this has given me a good basic starting knowledge to begin investing. Only down point I would say is that I emailed Tom a couple of times for help and he did not respond.

Hi, liked this course in terms of - a. Holistic approach to investing that it spells out, b. Introduction to various tools and the way they could help in going about doing analysis for placing potential trades and, c. Introduction to learn to interpret the technical analysis indicators etc. However there are a few things which probably could become more better which I believe are: i. The tools introduced are too much US market centric since the course is being taken up by students across the globe there are some tools which may not even cover the stocks they are familiar with. ii. I would have liked least 2 more valuation techniques to have been taught in this course the one taught is more value stock centric & may not give a correct picture for valuing growth stocks. It was an amazing learning journey though, thanks Tom for putting it up. Thx
