While on a surface level I understand what a balance sheet is and shows, this course taught me how to actually READ it and understand the information at a whole new level. Something I have put off a long time. Glad I took the course, was painless and completely useful!"

1. Informative on line items and well explained 2. I think could have gone into more detail about what the impacts are of line items and real life examples and how it impacts shareholders, company execs and employees

Very clear and simple delivery! I used this course to review concepts I haven't seen since undergrad and it was very helpful. Recommend this course to anyone newly learning or looking to refresh knowledge.
By Ebony Musinde on 7/27/2023
The course was quick, short and to the point! The language used was plain language which made it easy to understand. I do wish there was an example balance sheet that we could have actively worked through to ensure productivity.
By Sheryl L Robinson on 6/10/2022
I think this was a great course; it helped to refresh my memory on some accounting concepts. The professor provided a very good example by using AAPL to demonstrate the material. I will definitely pursue some of his other courses.
By Bikram Banerjee on 6/8/2020
The course material was good and the Instructor was also good. Here the financial statement of Apple is taken, however, it will be more beneficial to include a financial statement of a business that is not doing good in many ways, and how the ratios calculations are showing the various financial problems and the things to be reported to management.
By Antonia Voss on 4/27/2020
The course was useful but in some areas it could have been more polished/professional (e.g. Netflix tab was visible at the bottom of the screen, the audio from an ad pops up during one lecture, etc. Content was clearly laid out and interesting but the section on ratios felt a little rushed.
By Mike on 2/16/2020
The content was excellent- there were massive pixelation effects that made it challenging in the EXCEL portion (Building a table/charts) of the presentation. Overall the instruction/course was EXCELLENT! I would have appreciated a deeper dive in the Ratio portion... E.g. is 1.28 a god number for liquidy, etc..
By Luciana M Roberts on 8/24/2019
Great course Chris! Balance sheet analysis was very well explained and the Ratio comparison analysis was definitely a plus to read the results of the Balance Sheet. I just think that the speech speed could be just a little, little bit slower, other than that my rate would be 5 stars.
By Michael Tomy Kallivayalil on 5/2/2019
The course is very basic and good for people who are absolutely new to balance sheets. So if you are looking for a course to give you a more comprehensive understanding of the balance sheet then this does not make the cut.
By Bob Prentice on 12/23/2018
This course appears to be very relevant to what I am trying to improve my knowledge about. The instructor appears to be very experienced and explains well. He does tend to speak fairly rapidly and I have to relisten occasionally to fully pick up what he is presenting. But, overall at this point, I am pleased. I have now finished the course and am very pleased. I learned several new procedures and am looking forward to my next course
