Acting 101 for Adults (Udemy.com)

Very interesting to see a lot of "industry" questions addressed first, but this sort of jives with several filmmaking classes I've had where students are asking about how to sell a script without having first written a script. In this instance, these lectures serve to set the stage on what sort of expectations one should hold when entering the acting business. I'm a 100% inexperienced beginner who is just looking to see if acting might be something I'd be interested in. I view this as a mere taste of the work required to go from playing Pretend in kindergarten to making people actually believe I'm a . I appreciate the honesty and I really enjoyed the lectures. Hello there :) i didnt know what to expect but it was way beyond what i tould it would be. You are really amazing and so humanly acceptible that it is almost not true. You were very present as a human beeing as i would like to be and am aming at that. Ia am starting at this just by simply learning about the craft, knowing about different acting techniques, beeing authentic, beeing me and above all just be present and exist. Through acting i want to learn also about myself, what i am capable of and put a smile, laughter, joy, tears on other people faces. To move people - thats what im striving for. It's nice

Very down to earth course on entering the business. Good basic tools to work with. became confusing at the end when trying to access PDFs dealing with the course and submitting final exercise. BUT.... if you take notes and listen to what's taught you can source and sort the majority of it out without even needing them. On it's own it's totally worth buying. I've paid FAR MORE for far less in real life workshops. Very knowledgeable.

Really helpful and professional course

Really good basic information and tips about the acting craft and industry.

Loved it, gave valuable insight to the industry much like Jenna Fisher's book, Uta Hagen's book, as well as Larry Moss' instructions.

I'm definitely learning some things and considering different perspectives. It's all fantastic food for thought because no matter what you know or think you know, there is always room to be better. I actually started to take down some notes. Lots of little gold nuggets in this workshop.
