Advanced Reiki Techniques (Udemy.com)

I feel like most of the course is stuff you should learn in your normal reiki classes. I was so excited and thought I'm going to learn so much. The only new information I learned was the rake, butterfly, and acupressure. Everything else is information you should have already learn. I feel like this course could have been fantastic and so much better. But at the end I'm glad I took it.

Loved this course. The video about the rainbow technique looks like was clipped before it ended. But the rest of the course was perfect. I really liked it because she shows everything on video and most of the courses I bought do not have this feature, which makes understanding a lot easier.

The information is fascinating and I am excited to try these new techniques in my practice, however the information is given very quickly. I will view this entire course several times as I think I will pick up new info each time I view it. Also the printing at the beginning of each chapter needs better formatting and needs to be slower so you can read it.

Though I have been using all of the techniques she taught save the acupressure, the class helped to affirm that the techniques Quan Yin and the angel I channel are a "thing"! My mind was blown when she taught the butterfly technique because I have been doing it for some time but I call it "making pottery" because the chakra looks like a spinning pot on a pottery wheel and I am pulling it open! She also taught the pyramid technique and I was amazed when she said her guides had her do that because my guides taught me that, too! So, this class is great for those who are not able to channel and learn these techniques intuitively and I would recommend this class to others!

I feel the course went a little too quickly, especially on the acu pressure points as this has never been taught to me on any of the reiki courses i have been on. Reiki is usually not a hands on treatment, so for the Acupuncture , It would be important to be stressed with the client prior to the session. I do feel though that this is a valid and should be incorporated into Reiki, especially at the higher level. I know an acupuncturist so will be asking him some of the benefits from the A to G points. There seems to be some issues with the video. I would have liked the screen shots of the slides to be up longer so I could actually read them or have them available in pdf form. I was also expecting a certificate at the end to indicate that I completed the course. Also, it seemed like the instructor was uncomfortable in front of the camera and the camera operator inexperienced.

Melanie Rimkus has done an amazing job in creating this course!! I'm a 20+ year Reiki Master Practitioner and over the years, I've taken a few classes that've claimed to be advanced techniques only to have it as a class that re-hashes beginner Reiki over and over. Melanie goes right into this course with the advanced techniques and that I truly appreciate!!

There is a lot of great information in this class. It's a wonderful quick explanation & demonstration for someone who is new to these techniques, such as myself. Although this course is short I found the techniques to be very helpful. I have used many of them with a lot of success! I would recommend anybody to take this great course for improving their Reiki as a whole! The examples are very clear and concise so you don't get bored in any of the lectures.
