Course Description

Astrology is the oldest science on the planet. This ancient practice of divination and omen interpretation, studied and integrated by dynasties and sages in India, China, the Mayan, Egyptian, Greek, and Roman Empires has morphed into the modern age's most profound and specific form of counseling and personal coaching.

In this course, you learn the fundamentals of the astrological language, with a focus on the meaning of each Planet. You will learn how the Planets are the "teachers" in astrology, instructing us in the "lessons" of the Houses and through the methods of the Signs.

Planets also act as "characters" in our soul: a force that compels us to act in a certain way. For each planet you will learn its core astrological meaning through learning its correspondences in terms of Tarot, Chakras, Archetypes and Gods. You will learn Indian Mantras for each planet as well as Affirmations. You will also learn what Sign each planet rules, and the signs that benefit or challenge each planet, called Essential Dignity. A key aspect of this course is learning how to "read" a Planet in a House, in a Sign, and in Aspect/Relationship to other planets.

This course is designed for different kinds of learners as well: You will be shown a portrait of the planet with images and Keyword associations. You will learn how a planet speaks its purpose through its Poetic Voice.

Besides the standard planets, you will also learn about Chiron and the Lunar Nodes—essential elements of any complete chart interpretation.

By the end of the course, you will leave with a solid foundation and confident ability to read one of Astrology's most fundamental components

good information and nicely presented but slides on video blurr and the work books are not easy to print as they are full of colour. and they could be in one but only half information each

Excellent course.Really easy to follow. VerDarLuse really knows and loves his astrology and it comes across in his teaching. Beautifully presented with a lot of depth of information and insight. I have returned to it again and again to deepen my understanding. Many thanks Grainne

I always wondered what the planetary charts meant and how Astrology reports are put together. This course is the perfect starting place to begin to understand why things are as they are in relation to the planets. As above, so below. Absolutely!

Really Really in-depth and informative! I also love a class with slides so I can take notes as I listen, I find this helps my personal learning style. Just loved it and super excited to dive deeper! Onto the Houses course! Thanks again!

Like many people I was lulled into the stereotypical thoughts on astrology. The interplay of signs, houses, and planets requires that we learn their lexicon. VerDarLuz focuses this particular course on the language of the planets. He does a very competent job in this presentation, but it is only part of the story of astrology. Absorb this chapter and then sign up for his other classes that delve into different aspects.

Very informative. Whether you are learning astrology or have already advanced in your knowledge, this course is a good idea for anyone to take. The examples and questions to ask yourself about their roles in your own chart help you to see the planets from a new perspective. In addition, this course will help to better understand the planets' individual energies and their effects on our lives in a deeper way.

It was great! I had finished a course on how to create popular astrology by the signs. This really helped me remember and get to know the essence of each planet. Going to take his course on the houses next. Would like to study more about the nodes.

By Katy McGrew on 8/20/2019

I absolutely love this teacher's style in regards to combining and connecting all the many elements of astrology!! All lectures are clear, concise and engaging for the beginning astrology student all the way to advanced. I have completed the course on houses and am excited to move on to the course on aspects and chart interpretation next. Thank you so much!

By Kelly Caddel-Meier on 8/4/2019

This course helped me really get to know the personality of the planet. I truly appreciate the persona of thinking the planets as the actors and teachers. also the idea of the symbols let me understand and recognize them better. I am excited to take more courses.

By Renee Lazorik on 1/6/2019

After taking both courses on the planets and the houses I can finally start making connections and see the story lines in my birth chart! Thank you and looking forward to taking the rest of your courses to make even more sense as to how I relate to others in my life.
