Beat the Codility Coding Interview in Python (Udemy.com)

While the course itself is straightforward and does provide good practice and solutions for the Codility tests, there is a lack of attempts at difficult problems. Some of the modules contain hints and solutions for the easy problems but missed an opportunity to attempt the medium difficulty questions. Not only that, but the content should be updated to the current modules that are currently on Codility.

I like the analogies used to explain the solutions and hints. The only downside is that one of the solutions is using import math which is not allowed in codility and many other leetcode apps. However, its easily bypassed using different methods.

These walkthroughs are clear and helpful. I like that he spices them up with random scenes, etc. Gives them a bit of personality. Only suggestion I'd make is perhaps commenting your code as well as speaking to it? The explanation is clear already but this would make it easier to pause and break down the code a little bit to make sure it's well understood before resuming. Thanks for making these videos!

Loved the way the course is done. A bit of explanation, then describing the problem, then you take a bash at it, come back for a hint, go again, and then finally get the solution. I think the content and the problems are very well explained. Great use of visualisations that make understanding the problem a lot easier. Very enjoyable course.

After taking this course, I didn't feel much better prepared for my Codility test, but after taking and passing it, I have to say, this course played a large role in how well I did. That isn't because I somehow got questions directly covered by the course - I didn't - but because he teaches his students a framework of approaches and techniques to solving problems which is intuitive and pragmatic. His math skills vastly exceed mine, which I found somewhat concerning, but the underlying logic isn't that hard to grasp. Also, he's easy to follow for the length of the course and seems like the kind of guy you could have a beer with after a motorcycle race along a runway by the beach and trade travel tips on where to buy the best cacti.

The illustrations and teaching were amazing. I just wish there was more coverage. Also, I think it is useful to read Codility's problem statement before viewing the videos. This allows one to be sure they understand the problem from reading it instead of following along with the video.

Instructor is doing a fantastic job of communicating a ton of information in perfect sized bytes. Best $'s I've spent in a long time to blow 2 days learning how little I knew about something. Perfect pace, covered a lot of ground, looking forward to new content. Keep up the good work! P.S. the different intro clips are a nice break when you are binge-learning.

Good crash course for interview prep although will likely need to expand own learning beyond codility. I enjoyed the random 'action' videos at the start of each section :)
