Course Description
Business Analysts working in organizations that use an Agile approach are often referred to as Agile Business Analysts, and they play an instrumental role in helping teams efficiently deliver valuable, high-quality products.
One of the leading organizations in providing standards for Agile Business Analysts is the International Institute of Business Analysis, better known as the IIBA. The IIBA provides guidance on the skills and techniques that are important for Agile Business Analysts to be successful. And these standards can be found in their publication, the Agile Extension to the BABOK Guide.
In this course, within 3 hours of high-quality video lectures, we break down the Agile Extension standards to help you grasp those concepts. This includes:
The role and responsibilities of an Agile Business Analyst
Core agile business analysis principles
Analysis of the Strategy, Initiative, and Delivery horizons
Application of the business analysis principles in each horizon
Advanced agile business analysis techniques
And since 2 out of 3 organizations, nearly 70% of them, are using Agile today - these skills and techniques are in high demand.
This comprehensive Agile Business Analyst course is endorsed by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) and has been verified to thoroughly cover the standards explained in the Agile Extension to the BABOK Guide. While this course is not meant directly as exam prep, the knowledge taught can be leveraged to assist you in passing the IIBA's Agile Analysis Certification (AAC), since its questions are based on the Agile Extension standards.
Also, if you're looking to get ECBA®, CCBA®, or CBAP® certified or recertified, this course qualifies for 3 PD Hours/CDUs!
As an added bonus, with this course, you get the information explained from the viewpoints of multiple instructors. Allowing you to have complex topics broken down from different perspectives, aiding in your comprehension. And as expected, we have activities and quizzes throughout the curriculum to help you validate and apply your new knowledge and skills.
So whether you are:
- an aspiring Business Analyst looking to gain the knowledge to land your first Agile BA position,
- a current Business Analyst wanting to increase your Agile BA skills, or
- someone who wants to become AAC certified
This course is perfect for you! See you inside.

The content was great, but for me maybe a bit too long to get to the key elements. This is how I receive it because of the fact, that I have the PSM I certification and found things here that I have already known. I have learned here new things and I appreciate this course, thank you!

The course is informative and delivers solid foundational content. However, it felt a bit short overall and I wish it had more visuals (diagrams, examples, flowcharts) to help reinforce the concepts. Still worth taking if you’re new to Agile business analysis, but there’s room for improvement in presentation depth and visual support.

The information was great! This course is a great refresher/starter course. The reason that I did not rate it a 5 was because I expected to walk through and have a complete/functionable Trainable application. Hands on experience is what I am accustomed to, and that is what aide in mastering. That being said you will learn about some key BA techniques including personas, product roadmaps, MVPs, Kano analysis, user stories, retrospectives, and more, but you will not master it with just this course. I really like Jeremy; I have several of his Udemy courses as refreshers and I always learn something new.

I have been a BA for many years and I have been involved in Agile projects.I have never had a chance to do an Agile course or certification. This course will help me achieve that goal of getting certified as an Agile BA

I am in a new role where a lot of my teams projects are around automation of business processes. This will give me another set of skills outside of engineering and Lean Six Sigma.

The instructors do a very good job explaining the theory, I especially like Jeremy's style of teaching (I previously took the BA Fundamentals course hosted by him and it helped me a lot). My hope was to have a much easier time familiarizing myself with Agile theory compared to trying to read through the Agile Extension, and I wasn't disappointed. So what could go better? The practical example Pabitra is referring to in some of the videos could be outlined more consistently throughout the lessons. Having the course follow that example through the main Scrum ceremonies and artefacts would be great but it would imply shifting the entire focus and probably double its size, so... please insert [cost to benefit analysis] here. I would also love to see more quizzes. Lots, lots more. But I suppose that's a personal bias, since I end up writing this in all the reviews I make. Anyways, great work over there, many thanks for your time and effort!

The Agile BA course is a perfect match for me. The facilitators were quite calm, audible and concise in their delivery and the knowledge gained is fantastic!

This content is just like the material that is beeing transferred in it. That is; lectures designed simple and have high value in context from a attendee' s perspective. I am sure it will have a positive effect and pay me back in my professional life :)

Yes it is and it is an eye opener in somethings I have overlooked as a Business Analyst. I am now confident when looking for a new job -while in an interview I will be comfortable to answer some of the questions that will come up relating to Agile Business Analyst role in an organization Certification received...Yaaaay!!!

It was good, supplemented the course with the Agile Extension to the BABOK guide v2. Always nice to listen to a teaching and not only reading a 147 page document. I would have really enjoyed it if there was one practical example (like trainable) and that example used to demonstrate the different horizons (what would be happening in those horizons to establish the Trainable product etc. like the possible conversations, ideas, initiatives and then delivery of Trainable), but this is just because I am a more visual person (my learning style).
