It has made me revisit what I covered in my counselling training which included having therapy to help uncover subceived beliefs which has created my narrative which I have been measuring my life by.

It is good to be able to read and listen at the same time, to increase processing and retention.Even better if all of the resources were printable as one job (so i could get away with printing it at work)

This training challenged me, stretched me, and deepened the way I understand trauma and its impact on how we show up in our lives and relationships. I didn’t just gain tools; I gained perspective, language, and a deeper level of compassion. It helped me see more clearly how to hold space safely and responsibly while still empowering clients to reclaim their strength. I’m walking away from this experience feeling more grounded, more aware, and even more committed to the work I do.

I'm glad I have invested in the course. It is helping me to understand myself better so far. I like that the instructor wants the students to begin their healing journey first.
By Christine on 2/2/2026
I'm not sure. The clients that I have in my trauma group have ongoing trauma that happened over the course of many years not just one particular incident.
By Laura Monk on 1/16/2026
I liked it. Well informed. Very profession. It was highly focused on acute traumas (PTSD) rather than recurring trauma (C-PTSD), and I’m wondering how well the information transfers to complex trauma.
