If you are here, you probably know already why Prompt Engineering is important.
But, just in case, here is my argument:
If you haven't been completely offline for the past year, then you definitely know about the new advancements in AI and the lightning speed progress made by Large Language Models such as ChatGPT, GPT-4, BARD, Claude, Midjourney and others.
You're probably thinking or thought already:
How is AI going to affect my future?
Am I going to lose my job because of AI?
Will my skills and knowledge become obsolete because of AI?
I know this because I've been there already. My initial reaction was a mix of despair and excitement.
The idea of such powerful technology transforming the world as we know it can be both thrilling and daunting.
But I soon realized that the key to navigating this new era is adaptation and learning how to harness the potential of AI to our advantage.
Here's what I've learned and want to share with you:
Embrace change: Instead of fearing AI, embrace the opportunities it brings
Up-skill and re-skill: Continuously invest in yourself by learning new skills and staying updated on industry trends
Develop human-centric skills: Human creativity, empathy and critical thinking are traits that will not be replaced very soon by A.I.
Leverage AI as a tool: Learn how to leverage tools like ChatGPT and GPT4 to enhance your productivity, increase your creativity and improve decision-making
Stay informed: Keep yourself informed about the latest developments in AI and be aware of the ethical implications and potential biases that may arise from its use
In conclusion, AI is undoubtedly going to change our lives in profound ways.
Instead of fearing the unknown, embrace the opportunities it presents and strive to adapt and grow alongside it.
Enjoy this course and remember:
In a world of constant change, we should never stop learning!

Not Worth the Hype – Except for the Last Chapter This course is largely disappointing and not worth the price for anyone beyond an absolute beginner. The content is extremely basic, with most of the material targeted at users who have never interacted with the tool before. The prompts shown are overly simplistic, and there’s very little depth or practical insight provided. While the chapter titles are attractive, the content often fails to deliver on those promises. That said, the final chapter was a noticeable improvement—it offered slightly more useful insights and felt more aligned with what the course should have been throughout. Because of that, I’m giving the course an average rating. Still, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re a complete beginner looking for a very surface-level introduction.

This course is a great introduction to ChatGPT and prompt engineering for beginners. It clearly explains how to write better prompts and use ChatGPT’s plugins to automate tasks like searching the web, analyzing data, and creating content — all without any coding skills. The lessons are easy to follow, with practical examples that show how AI can help in daily work. It's perfect for marketers, business users, and anyone curious about using AI tools. Overall, it's a useful and beginner-friendly course, though more advanced learners may find it basic.

Upon mastering prompt engineering, several valuable experiences emerge. A thorough understanding of how to design precise and detailed prompts leads to generating highly relevant and targeted responses. Developing the ability to structure information effectively enhances clarity and completeness in outputs. Gaining proficiency in incorporating specific data, such as costs and logistical details, adds practical value and applicability to the responses. Learning to balance various elements, such as user interests and budget constraints, results in well-rounded and comprehensive content. Mastery of creative and thematic coherence in naming and branding enhances engagement and makes content more memorable. Additionally, achieving adaptability in tailoring responses to diverse requirements demonstrates flexibility and effectiveness in meeting varied user needs. These accomplishments underscore the importance of precision, organization, detail, creativity, and adaptability in prompt engineering. Such skills are greatly enhanced through the dedicated efforts of educators, whose guidance and support facilitate the development of these competencies. The appreciation for a teacher’s efforts is profound, as their expertise and commitment play a crucial role in enabling a deep understanding of prompt engineering principles and practices.

Prompt Engineering is very new to me. Still, the first section of this course was the introduction to this technology tool for AI that I was hoping I would fine. In particular, I am attracted to the idea the Prompt Engineering can make my technology work and my life passions more rewarding and enriching. As I came to the end of this course, I am even more excited about continuing to add AI training to my technical career!

A course that centers its scope on allowing followers to envision and tailor their journey into human-AI collaboration, by demonstrating step-by-step how to employ the technical features of prompt engineering in all a series of professional contexts, tasks and challenges. Speedy, complete, and effective in generating a productive flow of improving ideas.

good introduction course on Prompt engineering. Recommended to all beginners. Instructor knowledge is commendable. only problem I faced is the last bonus article. I could not open it even on my Desktop. It says "increase browser size." I tried everything. Just couldn't open it. Request Instructor to rectify it. I would ask the Instructor to create a separate course where he covers more advanced Prompt engineering techniques. All in all " value for money course ". Much appreciated. Recommended to all beginners. Special thanks to the Instructor.

The course is not for everyone, as the title suggests. Although it is decent, it is more for beginners and people getting to intermediate stages who may have missed a few features. Although decently presented, it focuses a lot more on AI in general than the actual prompt engineering. There are some helpful sections, and they're presented reasonably well, but there are just too many topics that are just overviewed instead of diving deeper into them to actually learn something. So although it was somewhat helpful to me, it did not deliver what the title states. The presenter is professional and likeable and everything is well presented, other than spelling errors. It wasn't a waste of money for me, but I did not get enough out of it that I can't without taking a course.

I am happy with my purchase because I learned about how to think about AI/GPT and some specific techniques for using GPT. I recommend the course. But the last half of the course was very light and just a list of ideas for using AI that you can find easily on the net (no skills at all were taught). The course would be much stronger if it included more realistic examples focused on GPT specifically (which was in the course title) instead of just "AI" models. For example, we need more realistic, specific examples and techniques for how to get more data, files, documents, and code into GPT. Splitting and using lossless compression for spreadsheet data CSV or resumes or reports, or code? An end-to-end example that builds a 5-page report? How to summarize a 30-page online PDF? (Maybe put your text in a local HTML file and tell GPT to load the HTML file?) More real-life examples. More realistic data sizes. Thank you for creating the course.

Andrei had a nice outline that builds upon itself with each module. I learned a lot. I would have enjoyed seeing a few more prompt examples in the writing and creating fields, but there may be some in the bonus resources. This was exactly what I needed after attending a few AI summit events so I could gain a better understanding of its capabilities. Thank you.
