1. The concepts are very new to me but sticking to the course is what helped me.
2. I actually liked the fact that the PPTs weren't shared which helped me note down things manually.
3. I had to increase the speed upto 1.75x to make the presentation sound more enthusiastic.

This was an excellent way for me to get started in the world of Data Warehousing. I chose this course hoping it would be a general overview of the terms on concepts I needed to know, and I was not disappointed. A couple of the sections in the middle got a little long and wordy, but I have been in enough database design meetings to know that is just to be expected.
Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a starting point of learning the pieces and parts that make up a Data Warehouse environment.

Overall a very well communicated course detailing very simply how Data Warehousing should work. I do feel the course could have done with improved practical examples at the end of each section to cement learning. The end of section quizzes are good but the wordy exercises were a little flat. That said I would recommend this course as Alan gives excellent explanations which are very easy to understand.
