There was a lot of good information, but the lack of videos during the explanations lacked the re-enforcement quality of the movement. It would be very helpful to actually show the movement as the explanation is being given, then put it all together if a full demo per section.

I like to SEE what I am supposed to do…I am a multi sensory learner, so talking about what to do whilst Showing it is great!

I don't doubt the instructor's knowldge, but the quality of the course is poor. Just bullet points with photos. Very little video or actual instruction. No discussion on anatomy or conditions-or why the conditions at the end were contradictions. Quiz had superficial questions that were more reliant on your percieved, general understanding of the information and not actual techniques or points discussed. I'd expect this of a 15 pound course, not 60. I'll gladly make a better one for you.

I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2013. Canine Massage was one of the first things I thought about becoming certified in. This class reminded me how much I still want to do so! It's a good basic structure to start building from. If you have no prior knowledge of massage, the content still makes sense and is easy to follow. I do wish there was perhaps a downloadable resource of the steps to be able to print up as a reminder, but that's easy enough to create for yourself specifically for your dog.

This course is what I expected and I was happy to learn some nice massage techniques and stretches for my dog and my client's dogs. The course material was hard to follow at times and some techniques needed further explanation, but overall it was a decent course and the demonstration videos answered some of the questions I had.

There doesn’t seem to be a continuous flow of information.. Stop and go very abdrupt. Which for me, and only me,(don’t know about others) made it hard to get into flow. But I persevered and it a good course! Maybe have a section to lead to business ideas?

The content was good, and I learned some new techniques. The format is mostly a slide show / powerpoint type of presentation with about one sentence per slide/photo. There are a few (less than 10) actual videos showing the techniques, and I think there could have been more of these. It wasn't until section 11 near the very end where she mentions that you should watch for feedback from the dog and also not give intense direct eye contact. I think these are important, and should have been mentioned earlier and more often. I especially would have liked more information on how to detect discomfort in the dog. There were a few techniques that I feel should not be used - a lot of ear folding that seems questionable, some of the extreme curling in of the paws or lifting of the tail. Trying to imagine how this would feel if I was a dog, these few movements seemed extreme, but easily skipped. Overall helpful and I am much more likely to give massages to my dogs after taking this course.

I felt this course gave a really great introduction to massage and massage techniques. The best part of the course were the sections specifically addressing specific sections of the canine body; the only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is that I wished there were more videos overall. Otherwise very enjoyable and informative. I cannot wait to utilize what I learned on my dog.

The course was a good match and I enjoyed it greatly! One improvement that I would suggest would be a review/summary slide at the end of each lesson, simply listing the key points associated with each lesson. I'd also recommend that the text on the slides be proofread by someone who writes well in English. The instructor speaks English very well and is completely understandable, but the word order and spelling on the slides does not always follow English language conventions and is therefore slightly confusing.

It is a slow, boring start but hang in and watch the whole course! The level of expertise is impressive, the slideshow and demonstration videos are good quality, the information is really informative and presented in according to specific body parts. I highly recommend this course for anyone looking for a comprehensive tutorial on dog massage.
