Baby Sign Language is an amazingly excellent communication tool that is beyond words. It helps you as a parent, understand your toddler, and it helps your baby  "tell" you what is going on with her/him before they can speak. 

Why wouldn't you communicate with your preverbal baby? Your baby might not be able yet to "tell" you something, but s/he is perfectly capable of making hand gestures.Your baby wants to share the way s/he sees the world with you. 

Give her a chance to tell you the whole story.
