This is a short explainer-video course on the basics of business finance. Anthony Jameson, who says he has a decade of finance work behind him, starts with accounting basics, then walks through the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow, financial ratios, and budgeting. It runs 30 lectures and about 2.3 hours across four sections, with three quizzes and examples drawn from Apple, Facebook and Ford. It is aimed at managers, owners and startup founders, and the description says plainly it is not meant for people with a finance background.

Students rate it 4.5 from over 25,000 reviews, and most of the sample is positive. People call the explanations easy to follow, well structured, and useful for someone coming from outside finance. The complaints are about delivery. Several reviewers say the narration is fast and flat, that on-screen words appear after the speaker says them, and that slowing the video makes the audio sound worse. One reviewer says to plan on double the listed time. A one-star review from a project manager says the later sections assumed finance knowledge and moved too fast for a true beginner.

The course was last updated in 2016, and one reviewer calls the video quality poor, so expect something that looks dated.
