Course Description

Learn how to Prevent, Detect, and Correct Fraud in your organization. Learn like you have never learned before!

This is the second course in the series of four courses. Even though it is a series of courses, you can take each one independently from each other. Try to complete all four courses as the topics are very interesting in each one. This course should help you if you are pursuing the Certified Fraud Examiner, or CFE certification.

This course is packed with bite-sized, animated, cartoon-like video lectures. Each video is no longer than 5 minutes. These videos do not only make it easy for you to learn and understand, but to also have fun learning. You can preview the course and some of the videos that were made available for review.

Each video lecture is followed by a short quiz, so you can assess your knowledge. At the end of each learning section, you will find a real-life case, that you will need to solve. The cases will be presented to you via video, and then there will be a proposed solution so that you can check your answer.

The topics covered in this course include:

  • Tampering with Checks

  • Payroll Frauds

  • Expense Reimbursement Frauds

  • Register Disbursements Frauds

Enroll and learn about this exciting topic! Enroll, and learn like you never learned before!

Great course that provided good detail in different types of check fraud, payroll fraud, expense reimbursement fraud, and register disbursement frauds. Thank you!

By Llarry Amrose on 1/30/2026

I've seen check and payroll frauds happen, and the biggest takeaway is to just split up the functions and be aware of what's being done -- don't be in such a hurry as to not notice.

By Jerryl Raganit on 11/5/2025

It was well explained with examples and short case studies. The discussions were divided appropriately based on the topics given and I enjoyed taking notes and participating the short cases. Thanks

Great instructor. Very thorough with lots of information. I'm learning a great deal on what to look for to keep us safe from fraudsters.

By Rafael Rosario on 8/19/2025

I appreciate the details the course provided and how each fraud type is broken down with an example. I would guess adding some multiple choice questions to enhance viewer interaction and understanding.

By Kate Larson on 8/11/2025

Good information presented in an easy to understand manner. I appreciated the case studies; I would prefer some knowledge check quizzes as in Part 1.

By Jillean Durrant-DeRos on 10/1/2024

The course material was excellent. I wish, however, that there were opportunities to quiz the knowledge gained in this module like in the first. Great work and smooth delivery!

Glad to now physically see an instructor discussing this cours himself rather than just a voice. Although, I just found the background distracting as it was moving. It was great to have case studies at the end of each section but quizzes at the end of each topic should have been retained as it is an effective way to reinforce learning just like in Forensic Accounting: Fraud Investigation! Part 1. Also, like my feedback in the first part, I hope the course will include published examples of actual fraud. Lastly there was a typo in the last case study with the same paragraph repeated in the slide (this should have been checked before publishing). Overall the topics were relevant and it was a very informative course. By the way, where are the 3rd and 4th part of the training?

By Priscilla Godoi Medeiros Varandas on 1/14/2024

I’m completely in love with this course and excited with the next level. Thank you Stefan for this initiative!!!

By Cristian Medina on 7/7/2023

Está mejor estructurado que la parte 1, haciendo que sea facil de seguir; es una mejora que me gustaría resaltar.
