Forex Algorithmic Trading: 30 Strategies + Walk Forward (Udemy.com)

Thank you, Petko, Miran, and the entire team. I spent 18 months struggling with trading, going nowhere, until I came across this guy on Udemy who spoke with a funny accent (I’m Australian, so I get it—people think I talk funny too!). That guy was Petko. He was hilarious, and I thought, “Why not give one of his courses a shot?” A few months later, I’ve now purchased over 10 of his courses and even invested in the Optimal Pack from his website. I’ll be honest, there was a small issue at the start, but the team went above and beyond to fix it. They resolved it quickly, outside of business hours, just so I could get up and running. As a gesture of goodwill, they even gifted me another course for the inconvenience. Fast forward to today—I’m running over 300 robots and turning a profit. This has truly changed my life. I had to sell my car to fund these courses and my account balance, but it was worth it. Being on a disability pension due to metastatic cancer, this is my only way to generate income. If you ever have the chance to invest in the Expert Advisor Studio, I highly recommend it. If not, at least try their courses. The lifetime monthly updates they offer are phenomenal and have been invaluable to me. Thank you, Petko and the team, for everything. You have no idea how much you’ve changed my life.

The course is related to walk forward optimization's.. But in entire course the topic is covered in only for 1 single video and 1 update video. Same information can be found on his youtube channel for free. I was expecting the ENTIRE COURSE ON WALK FORWARD OPTIMIZATION only or major

Very well conceived and presented. Very good for what it is. The use of expensive external software was described, although the software isn't necessary, as Petko provides regular updates of the expert advisors, but being dependent on those updates isn't ideal for me. My concern is what happens if the updates stop for whatever reason? My expectation was that the individual strategies would be explained and/or demonstrated, and that I would be shown how I could backtest and adjust the strategies myself using freely available software. Having completed the course, I now understand that the portfolio construction is a unique feature of the software demonstrated, and apart from enabling, pausing or disabling individual strategies, isn't really otherwise editable. Eg adding other expert advisors to the portfolios without using the origination software isn't possible. That wasn't apparent in the course description. However, if prospective purchasers don't want or need the flexibility that I describe and would have preferred, then I can happily recommend the course to them.

Can't go wrong with any of he's courses, especially this one. A must have for anyone wanting to learn about expert advisors. Would of given it at least another 10 stars for value for money and information learnt.

Great way to optimize the EAs with EA Studio... The Portfolio system is easy to manage even if you need to open the Meta Editor for it...Great course as always!

Professor Petko is an excellent instructor who is very knowledgeable in his field. He explains all topics in detail in an easy to follow instructions. I implemented his strategies already into real trading account. Highly recommend this course

I've purchased a number of Petko's FX algo trading courses. He's a really, really good instructor; very clear and shows while explaining what he's doing. I'd highly recommend his courses to anyone interested in algo trading. However, you've to do your part and actively listen to every word he's saying - don't rush! And you'd come away knowing exactly what to do. Then you must practise with a demo account and analyse the results over a number of weeks. I'm doing that now and am very happy with the results so far :) This course bundles all the 30 strategies in 3 separate robots (know as portfolio EAs), even further simplifying the already little maintenance work you have to do. Very nice!

Excellent overview of expert advisors, how to evaluate strategies, and implementing them in the MT4 platform.

I was interested in this course mainly because of the robustness tests explained in it. Like the other Petko´s courses that I already passed by, I learnt a lot and I am really happy to have enrolled in because the course met my expectations in what I wanted to learn. I like how teacher is explaining each chapter on the topic that he is talking about. Honestly, Petko´s courses are totally suggested to know about the algorithmic trading at all levels of knowledge. In addtion to that, the course resources are updated each month allowing to keep on learning over time.

Petko's Courses have turned my trading career around. Algo trading at the end of the day is a trading "Style", it's not for everyone. I've found that it is for me over the past two years. Don't let the simplicity in his courses fool you, its still a lot of work, but his courses give you plenty of ideas to develop your own style for development. Don't deviate from it once you set Your rules. RA
