Forex Trading Secrets of the Pros With Amazon's AWS (Udemy.com)

A little repetitive, and overly long for what is being shown. Most modules are like 3min long, and feature a recap of the previous module. Why??? The content in the course is great, and super valueable though! I don't know if the length is to make the course seem "worth the money" or something, but great content.

This is without doubt the best Udemy course I have enrolled in, giving unlimited income from a number of servers running an array of "expert advisors". Amazon have leveled the playing field between novice and professional traders. The makers and presenter in this course are to be congratulated on the precise content and course layout. The extended advantage is that this is a living growing source of information using the MT4 trading platform. It is anticipated that further courses on how to developed automatic trading robots will also be covered with point by point tuition, unlike other courses which leave the student with learning gaps in the course curriculum. Thank you!

I think this course is exactly what I expected and delivers the info I need in a no-nonsense way. I'll update to 5 stars after finishing the course. So far, the content is straight-forward and I'm waiting to get into technical details. The narrator speaks well, which is always a bonus! (though I did have to run videos at 1.25x or 1.5x speed)

Learned about the AWS servers and AWS server applications and where it shines for multiple back testing efforts and reducing live trading transaction delays to get the better/best order fill. The course does a good job working that aspect. Forex Trading Secrets? A better title could be (based on course outline): Using Amazon's AWS to Improve Execution of Forex Live Trading and Back Testing Acceleration The instructor did not get into MT4 and MT5 specific, except how to install the trading platform of choice. There is an assumption that the student already knows or will get to know MT4 or MT5. Other platforms such as TradeStation and ThinkorSwim are not covered so you are on your own for these discoveries. AWS is free (within the constraints of free) for one year but the website agreement eludes that free did not need to stop after one year so any pricing information, based on the instructors experience, is critical so that one can make an informed decision on the free to monthly paid transition i.e. It's free then jumps to $49.00/mo or it will remain free or very close to free (very low cost) as long as one meets certain criteria over the long term. Not knowing the instructors other courses it is unknown if there are workarounds to execute trades manually as there is only one monitor for server software available since there was no monitor discussion. The course assumes one will execute all trades through MT4 or MT5 trading strategy function with its automatic BUY SELL during market hours chosen based on the back tested strategy(s) success(es) before implementing them in the live trading environment. There is no manual override discussed.

The content of the course is includes every thing to get you up and running with your trading servers (or any other purpose if desired). It covers set ups, back testing, notifications, disaster recovery etc. All very well explain and straight to the point. Easy to follow. Excellent work! very useful.

Great! a little tough to understand at first when using Mac but if you put in the time and effort you'll get the hang of things quite easily.. But I would like a little more support from the instructor's.. They don't seem to respond to quickly to your questions, if they ever even do at all, from what I have experienced so far.. Which is why they are only getting 4 stars at the moment.. If it wasn't for this, and the fact that they don't respond quickly to your questions I would buy this course 100x over again.. Just FYI for any of you wondering I was eventually able to finish this course on my own without them ever responding to my questions. Overall it just took me a little longer than expected and I had to do a little bit more of googling than I would of expected or wanted to on my own in order to figure these things out, especially on Mac, but other than that this course was AMAZING and is now an essential part of my trading program and a tool that I am now glad to have in my overall trading arsenal!

In the course, it should show you to select Windows 2016 not the Data Base. It should also tell you to press on your keyboard, control V to paste the password in the connect to server . This is a very enjoyable course delivered by a knowledgeable and engaging presenter. All important technical steps are clearly shown and explained so that at no time have I felt that I have knowledge gaps that I need to fill in on my own. This is an interesting topic using very interesting technology and I can't wait to learn more.

The course it great. The only thing missing is how to use the trading software to perform backtesting an understand the results, execute trades, automate trade execution using strategies you've come up with. I realize that this is not a course on how to trade (I thought it was when I bought it), but it would be a helpful addition to the course so that students don't have to go looking for yet another course to learn how to trade using MT4.

I was expecting a breakthrough, a revolution... instead, I listened to an instructor who keeps on claiming the benefits of AWS instead of going straight to the point. I got the feeling of an instructor beating around the bush so as to ensure the course length is enough to be accepted by Udemy. Last, but not least, I felt dragged into an amazon process that I could not reverse. Eventually, you are sold, through this course, an amazon service which will cost you if your are not careful with your account set-up.
