This course is very informative for me. Although the demos were made using an older version of ChatGPT, using the same prompts and getting better outputs clearly illustrate how powerful the tool is. We need more such courses to dispel the magic of AIs while providing the education of how to use it. Thank you very much for making this course Mike!

Evaluating this course for company use. Focuses on lots of fundamental skills that can be enhanced with GenAI. These are important for a wide range of employees from those less experienced with writing professional/ technical documents to those for whom English is not their first language. Could use some update on examples to ChatGPT 5, as I think the capabilities will be much improved. Overall, great course.

I was interested in the general information provided more than the scientific explanations, however I thought the examples were good. A couple of sections that don't apply to my work (too sciencey), but most of them do. I thought the explanation of Udemy would have been more useful at the beginning of the video. I appreciated the last segment on how AI was used in developing the course. I learned a great deal about ChatGPT that I can incorporate in my work. Thank you.

As an introductory overview of how to use ChatGPT as a writing and research tool, I enjoyed Mike's course. He presents the material well and it is easy to follow and get the basics. My only criticism would be that it is possibility a little too basic to justify full price, but, as I got it on sale, I think it pretty much does what it says on the tin. Good introduction. Recommend it.

This course's prompts contain excellent examples. However, instead of extensively discussing ethics, I would have expected explanations of GPTs that could be utilized in articles, such as graphics, with examples like ScholarAI, MathExpert, AIPDF, etc. If it included these, it would truly deserve 5 stars.

Really helpful course. Lots of practical and realistic examples of typical academic writing tasks (such as writing this review ;-) ). It showed how to use ChatGPT effectively - not to do my work for me, but to improve it and make it less tedious. I also liked the "enlightened" and balanced view on ChatGPT: mostly positive, yet appropriately skeptical, without unrealistic or overhyped AI promises. Thank you, Mike!

The course is definitely good, it addresses topics that are very interesting, however, I feel a deficiency of knowledge. The course should also be updated, the new ChatGTP has much more capabilities, e.g.: web search, pdf document analysis. This gives new possibilities, I would like to see them in action in this course.

This was my first introduction to ChatGPT and I found it very helpful and reduced my anxiety about learning an AI tool in general. The course provided lots of ideas for ways to use the tool and I appreciated the writing prompts as a Word document. I took notes in that document throughout the course but did have to keep noting when some prompts were better than others. I was hoping for a bit more on how to train AI to use provided templates and I got a tad confused by the flow of the course & would have preferred it followed more of the linear progression of a typical research project. Overall I learned a lot and got the gist of how to engage with the tool in a natural way. Thank you!
