Course Description
Generative AI has moved from novelty to daily tool, and the professionals who get real value from it are the ones who understand how it works, know which tool to use for which task, and can write prompts that get results. This course gives you all three, with no coding, no math, and no jargon left unexplained.
You will start with the fundamentals: what Generative AI is, how Large Language Models generate an answer, and the limitations you must know, from hallucinations to bias and knowledge cutoffs. Then you will explore real applications for productivity, creativity, and business tasks, with ready-to-use prompts you can try the same day.
The heart of the course is a full map of the 2026 GenAI tool landscape, organized in seven categories so you can evaluate any tool, including ones that do not exist yet:
Conversational AI: ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, and when to choose each
Research and knowledge: Perplexity and NotebookLM
Voice and audio: ElevenLabs, Audio Overviews, Suno
Image and video: Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Google Veo, Runway, HeyGen, Synthesia
Code and app building: Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and vibe coding with Lovable and Google AI Studio
Small Language Models for privacy and data sovereignty: Llama, Gemma, Qwen, Phi, Mistral
Integrated workplace AI: Copilot and Gemini inside the tools you already use
You will then master prompting with a simple five-element framework (role, context, task, format, tone), learn to iterate on results, and see good and poor prompts side by side. The course closes with risks and responsible use, including privacy and when not to use AI, plus real business case studies and a library of prompts for common tasks.
By the end, you will be able to:
Explain how Generative AI works and where it fails
Build a personal toolkit of two to four AI tools matched to your work
Write structured prompts that produce usable results on the first or second try
Apply GenAI to emails, summaries, presentations, content, and data analysis
Decide when cloud AI, a local model, or human judgment is the right call
Use AI responsibly, protecting sensitive data and verifying outputs
Designed for professionals, managers, students, and anyone who wants to use AI with confidence. No technical background required.

Amazing course and exceeded my expectations. The content was easy to understand, well-structured, and highly relevant to today's workplace. I especially liked the practical examples, real-world use cases, and the focus on responsible AI usage, including topics such as hallucinations, bias, privacy, and prompt engineering.

Course is pery good and people who are non technical can go for it. Can diffrentiate between which tool they need for what purpose. Tools selection, prompt engineering and their own prompt library over time.

Love the real time application and learning about the current tools and use cases for each. I'm feeling more confident about AI and tools by the day.

Although I use generative AI in various forms quite a bit, the course has been helping me to think about important areas and concepts involving the technology and its use.

Curso é muito bom, bem explicativo, mas acredito que poderiam melhorar sobre as legendas, muitas vezes elas não apresentam o texto inteiro da fala do narrador, ou aparecem pela metade.

This course is very nice especially for those who want to explore or gain knowledge about multiple AI present in world at current and their appropriate usage.

Contents are good. When introduction the different AI products and models, it is difficult for freshers to remember so many products' name in such a short time. It would be better if you can show some detailed examples with application screen, how it works, etc. This can help to learn faster and better.

1. Experience through the course (summary) Through this course, the key learning is that working with AI is not just about asking questions—it’s about asking structured, clear prompts and then verifying the output carefully. Main takeaways: Vague prompts → vague answers Structured prompts (Role, Context, Task, Output Format, Tone) → useful outputs AI can help with drafting, summarizing, and structuring ideas But AI output must always be checked for hallucinations, bias, and privacy risks The user remains responsible for final decisions, especially in professional work In short: AI is a support tool, not an authority. 2. What is a “good match” for you? A good match for using AI (based on what you’ve practiced in this course) is: Tasks that are structured but not safety-critical Work that involves writing, summarizing, organizing, or comparing information Tasks where you can verify facts using trusted sources Situations where AI helps you save time but you still make the final decision Examples of good match tasks: Writing emails or reports (with review) Summarizing technical or business documents Creating comparison tables (like engineering systems or vendors) Drafting presentations or proposals Brainstorming options or ideas Not a good match: Final engineering or safety-critical decisions Confidential or highly sensitive data processing Anything where incorrect output could cause legal, financial, or safety damage Simple rule: If you can verify it and control the final decision, it’s a good match for AI. If you cannot verify it or mistakes are high-risk, AI should only be used with caution—or not at all.

really good. A few video issues and the assignments are not always very easy to use. Something about browser size being too small. When you adjust it still doesn't work and you are told you can't change the status... This really detracts from what otherwise would be very excellent user experience.
By Pedro Henrique De Vasconcellos Direne on 5/10/2026
I liked very much the summary about each AI tools, explanation about prompt and how to get more of it. The end of the training could be shorter, it was repeating the same info too many times.
