Very nice introduction to GnuCash for personal users! I really enjoyed the concept section. Its short, but clear and on point. The teacher is very easy to understand and engaging.

I thought it was just a course on the GNU Cash software, and to be sure, it is that! But also, it is a course on basic money management. He did a very good job explaining a very practical approach to rock-solid software, and also money management skills.

I don’t have a financial background so when I first looked at GUNCash, it seemed confusing. This class was like having someone sit down and show you how to use GUNCash. It covered everything I needed to know without taking up too much time. I gave it 4 stars because the class description stated that this is what I should expect from the class and the review system states 4 stars means the class met your expectation.

Having been using my money in a scarcely planned and sometimes too gratious manner, I was spending too much which often got me into problems. I heard about GnuCash from a fellow employee who is using it advantageously for a long time already. I immediately anticipated that this might be a real game changer and I was looking for a couse here to get me into it quickly. And this has really happened here. Thank you so much Rick, for accelerating me and giving me a nice and concise intro to this powerful program and besides helped me understand the things I really had been doing wrong all the time. I am pretty sure that after using the software diligently after some time, I'll have a birds-eyes view to my expenses and all the detail I need at the same time, to better plan and discipline myself for my fortune. Again, thank you and all te best - Richard

What was most valuable to me was watching you work with the program - made if more comfortable for me to work with the program and to understand the basic accounting concepts it uses. Going forward, I have a lot more studying and learning to do, of course. Your course seems a good launching pad for me.

Very simple to understand, clear definitions and examples. This course could have more detail or examples of how the effects of these categories effect personal financial outcomes. For instance how interest accumulates in assets and liabilities for example. I like that there is a foundation set before diving into the software great job!

Most of the information in this course is already available in much greater detail in the GnuCash Tutorial and Manual in the Help section of the software itself, as well as GnuCash Wiki and other online resources. But it was still reassuring to hear the basics from another person as I am a beginner to personal finance.

This course uses free and open source software, does a great job of providing an introduction to financial education, and is great at explaining double-entry accounting with practical exams. It was a much better introduction than all the videos I found on YouTube and was 100% worth the cost. I would recommend Rocky's course to family and friends looking to manage their household like a business.

I got a lot out of the scheduled payments and targeted savings sections. I'm relatively familiar with GnuCash, so it was refreshing to se this worked through so thoroughly. I'd love to see a follow up to this in GnuCash's application to small business accounting and reporting for auditing and tax purposes.

The course is very good and this is what i was expecting. Straight to the point and this is what i was looking, i have tried gnucash before many times, but had many doubts in it, now the concepts are clear and i hope this time i will maintain my personal finance in gnucash successfully.
