It was very basic, although informational. I found the content to be too scattered in terms of information covered. I think insurance claims information should be within a separate course as it is entirely different from analytics in the healthcare setting.

I enrolled in this course because I wanted to better understand the health data related to my current work case. It has not answered all of my questions, but it has nicely explained a few other concepts that are very useful when working with health data. One point I must admit is that every lecture includes resources with articles related to the topic, which is also useful.

I am pursuing a new career path and am exploring interests. I appreciate this course because I thought the course was concise and comprehensive. The examples provided a thorough visualization of what it is like to analyze health data and shows how impactful it could be.

As a young healthcare professional, I found Health Data 101 very insightful. I was hoping to learn more about the fundamental types of data that I would come across as I begin my healthcare journey, and this course delivered. Coming from an undergraduate background in Biology, I must admit that my knowledge of data science up to this point was quite limited. I enjoyed how the professor delineated between structured and unstructured data sets, and how these types of data can be analyzed in different ways. Moreover, I appreciated the optional section regarding the application of data analysis in the context of healthcare studies (the example of using data analysis to gain insight into Opioid Use Disorder prevalence and outcomes was great). Overall, I feel more confident in my ability to comprehend the the role of statistics in informing clinical treatment. Thank you!

As a scrum master of a data team, I found this very useful to get a better insight into understanding some of the work they do, including some issues they might encounter. Videos were nicely broken up into short sections which meant I could do a section, or mini section, around my workload

As a Health Information Tech I really enjoyed this course because I have the understanding of the Coding Information and processes that are discussed. That being said the explanations are very clear for anyone to understand. Thank you for a great presentation.

Covers a lot of material about EHR. Compiling information on the medical exa.inations and treatment of the individual. The website/course material itself (the latter plentiful in resource material) was difficult if not at times impossible to navigate through. Some sections' resource material seems impossible to access. The course introduction, too, seems to be the instructor's working outline

Perfect high-level intro to healthcare analytics without having to sit through tedious lectures. Short and sweet, zero fluff, every slide gave valuable info with over-explaining. Yes, the slides are plain and the voiceover lacks the enthusiasm typically associated with more engaging instructors, but hey, its actually a testament to the just-right tone this presentation had. Very surprised this author doesn't have a wider portfolio of healthcare analytics courses at Udemy.

The course has been crafted with a blend of simplicity in articulation and comprehensive delivery of most of the important health data concepts that are not just theoretical but are quite practical and actionable for a working professional in Healthcare. Would look forward to more courses on these themes.

The instructor is very knowledgeable and a good intro to Health Data. I was considering getting a certificate in HDA and I think this gives me a visibility but I am still not sure if I could take the exam. I am wondering is there more classes, more in detail, ways to take a pre-test. I would suggest quiz in between each lesson. I will also need to visit all the links in the course and I will be able to see after additional studies what steps I will take. Thank you. Great JOb!
