The information was great and very detailed, super informative. However i wish the course videos were different. I wish they were filmed differently.

This course is not good. It is not for estheticians. I have learned nothing. It states that you have access to resources, but you have to pay for them. This course is poorly recorded. It is a course for people who have an interest in beauty but not for people who have certification.

Very rich content made for both professionals in the field of beauty and for non professionals as well. Nevertheless, I would have loved a more in-depth details and live demonstration on some subjects aiming at the professionals. Secondly, I did not find the podcast, recordings and animated angles of the course ideal. Lastly, prospective students should be informed that they don’t have access to the e-book when the course is on sale.

Dr. Teo's approach is refreshingly different – she digs into the nitty-gritty of acne and offers solutions that actually work. From understanding why those pesky pimples pop up to learning about holistic treatments like botanicals and LED therapy, this course covers all issues in a very comprehensive way

The content is somewhat good but music is very distracting.

As a facialist, I find acne to be the most persistent skin condition encountered by my clients and this in depth course on acne is very helpful in addressing these skin concerns. I am excited with the microdermabrasion tools shared by the good doctor which look really promising versus conventional acne facials.
By Fiona Chang on 6/6/2023
Great course on acne treatment! I found the instructor’s tips on botanical anti inflammatory acne creams to be really useful as they are non drying. I have been struggling with adult acne and sensitive skin for many years, and traditional creams with benzoyl peroxide causes my skin to be very red and flaky. The botanical acne creams on the other hand are soothing and effective for me.

I enjoyed especially the focus on non-oral methods of treating acne, including science based herbals, facials, skincare regimens. Also useful was guidance on when to see a dermatologist and practical tips for express facials for quick results. Valuable info on selecting facial devices and how to avoid/minimize adverse reactions.
By Violet Chen on 5/25/2023
I feel that the holistic acne treatment approach is thoroughly covered in this course. Instructor focused on factors such as the microbiome, stress, diet, and microclimate. There was valuable knowledge on the essentials of acne skincare regimens, face mapping, and both prescription and non-oral treatment options, including the use of herbals. Dr. TWL’s expertise and practical insights guide through the intricacies of managing acne effectively.
By Louisa Kang on 5/24/2023
Course delves deep into fundamentals of acne, providing insights into causes and classification of various acne types. I gained a comprehensive understanding of acne severity and its impact on the skin. Course also explores the role of genetics, puberty, hormones, oil production, inflammation, and the causative bacteria. Great insights about acne scarring, secondary bacterial infection prevention, and the latest scientific approach to the acne microbiome as well.
