My name is Mostafa.
I am a Software Engineer who has been working with Ruby on Rails for over 3 years, through these years I worked on many different projects, some of them were full-stack and many were API-only applications.
I love coding in general and that's why I am always eager to learn new technologies and work with different ones like react, angular, Ionic, React-Native, .NET, Java, and many other languages and technologies.
But I found myself more in Web Development and Ruby on Rails.

i think there is not many explanations in the front end side so far the code is there but no explanation of what it does

The Good things first: mostly the code presented in this course actual works at the time of writing this review and every functionality is fully funcitoning at the end. However there are a few major problems. The volume of the videos varies greatly, as does the microphone quality, but the microphone quality is always really, REALLY bad. The author of the course is extremely unenthusiastic about the whole thing and rushes through the course a lot without explaining any concepts behind the code that is used.. For beginners this course is probably completely wrong. Also, english is clearly not the first language of the author, which is not a problem in itself - but the pronounciation and lack of clarity of words sometimes makes the content hard to follow, coupled with the bad microphone quality. If the Author does not at least get a significantly better microphone, I would actually suggest to just use text to speech for future courses, if any are planned. It will be a much better experience for most people, considering text to speech has gotten quite good nowadays. That being said, I learned exactly what the course promised - I now know how to create an instagram clone in Rails. Sadly, due to the lack of explanations and the rushed nature of the course, it will be very hard to transfer this knowledge to other projects.

I must say it exceeded my expectations. The course provided a comprehensive learning experience in building an Instagram clone using Ruby on Rails. The instructor's expertise and clear explanations made the learning process smooth and enjoyable except for sometimes sound is noisy but it's ok. I really learnt a lot from this course! thank!!

Great practice for rails. I have to say that I loved and learned a lot from it. Every step is explained except the first few lectures' html. but to be honest there's a problem in the sound as it's noisy sometime but acceptable quality. I just Finished the course and it's really a masterpiece !! Highly Recommended.

I like the course so far. there was some parts where the instructor copy and past a lot of the html-css parts without explanations but so far in section 5 he improved that and started to explain all the code he writes with no copy and paste anymore. --UPDATE-- Best Course !! he explains every part deeply. But the sound is a little bit noisy that's the only problem to be honest.

Review at the end of the course! : Mostafa really knows his trade. He's a real master. It's a great course to follow along and, if you're already at medium level with rails, then probably this is for you, but for beginners it's not the best way to learn. Mostafa explains why here's doing all parts, so that's excellent, but to follow the code is impossible if you're not at east at a medium or advanced level. But the code is very up to date, clean and modern code with awesome design. A lot to learn. For me, I know I'll take many months until I can fully understand all that was done here. I'll study a lot to be able to decode each part. But I say, it's worth it!! After all we develop a fully functioning social media app. Thank you, Sir!

Overall, it was a good course. When Rails 7 first came out, implementing Bootstrap javascript and Devise was problematic, so this course certainly helped with that. I also liked the follow system as opposed to creating multiple models to perform the same functionality. Not a 100% thrilled with the search functionality. Plus, sometimes it seems like the teacher could use a higher quality microphone. Yet, all in all I would consider the course to be worth the money.

In this course, implementing the user-following system, and real-time like and comment sections is good for me, especially in debugging "turbo" problems. There are some issues in this demo project when the database is without any user or post data. The instructor might add seed data such as the seed file to avoid this issue. Overall, this course is recommended. Thanks to the instructor, I have learned more implementation skills from this course.

This course has an awesome content! We can improve a lot of our Ruby on Rails skills just by making this course, it talks about everything important on it. However, there are some lessons when the instructor cuts off some parts wich makes the html code a little less understandable (sometimes we have to close a div somewhere we didn't saw him do it, etc..) That's main reason why I didn't gave 5 stars, because in terms of content it's one of the best courses I saw on this platform!

Really good and detailed course , It goes through every issue you would face in the latest version of rails and solve it ,Beside giving a small brief on the packages and gems before their usage . It covers rails most important parts, commands and configuration which is very helpful for fast development , I really recommend this as a refresher for all essential basics anyone would need.
