Course Description
Many business mistakes are made due to insufficient market research. That's why I created this hands-on course for you so that you can see how, with virtually no money, you can research many important aspects like the size of the market or a particular segment, the sales tactics of competitors, customer preferences, etc.
This course is based on my 15 years of experience as a consultant in top consulting firms and as a Board Member responsible for strategy, performance improvement, and turn-arounds in the biggest firms from the Retail, FMCG, SMG, B2B, and services sectors that I worked for. I have carried out or supervised over 90 different performance improvement projects in different industries that generated a total of 2 billion in additional EBITDA. On the basis of what you will find in this course, I have trained in person over 100 consultants, business analysts, and managers who are now Partners in PE and VC funds, Investment Directors and Business Analysts in PE and VC, Operational Directors, COO, CRO, CEO, Directors in Consulting Companies, Board Members, etc. On top of that, my courses on Udemy were already taken by more than 350 000 students, including people working in EY, Walmart, Booz Allen Hamilton, Adidas, Naspers, Alvarez & Marsal, PwC, Dell, Walgreens, Orange, and many others.
I will show you 3 groups of market research methods:
Consulting methods
Online methods
Offline methods
Since we want you to be able to do market research on your own, there will be very little theory and loads of nice examples in many fields. You will master the market research in areas such as retail, fast-moving consumer goods, the food sector, online businesses, services, and some offline businesses. This training will be especially beneficial for small business owners, startups, and consultants. You will learn mystery shopping, store checks, bottom-up, and top-down approaches, and others.

This is a very practical, hands-on course on how to actually do market research in the real world, especially if you don’t have a big budget or access to expensive tools. What I liked most is that it focuses much more on methods, examples, and concrete techniques (top-down / bottom-up sizing, competitor analysis, mystery shopping, online tools, etc.) rather than abstract theory. The instructor clearly brings a consulting mindset and shows how these analyses are used to draw real business conclusions. The course is best suited for analysts, startup founders, and business managers who want a structured toolkit they can apply immediately. Some parts could go a bit deeper into the Excel analysis and step-by-step calculations, but overall it delivers a very solid framework and many actionable ideas for validating markets, understanding competitors, and shaping business decisions. A strong and practical introduction to applied market research.

A very hands-on course on how to actually conduct a cheap market research. Useful for a solo entrepreneur or a small business considering entering a market. Nice resources presented and how to use them quickly and efficiently. I didn't agree with the entire Bottom-up and Top-Down methodology presented in beginning. In theory it seems great but in practice, I think errors in estimation will be inevitably made at each step of the way in the calculations, leading to a result which can diverge largely from the reality.

The beginning lectures gave me idea on how to calculate the number of potential customers as well as potential revenue. However, if a more detail market research plan, sample data collection, and report were included, this course will provide more value to the learners.

i certainly learned new information. I think that, due to audio editing, the articulation came out choppy. It made it difficult to keep up with Other than that the instructor is certainly knowledgeable and I do recommend this to those who want to learn more about the subject matter!

The Course is good, Work the $15 I paid. As Asen is not located in US or Canada, they is less information he can provide on the Government Statistic and source. But Netherless, Good Course.
