Yes, this course was a good match for me. It provided clear explanations, practical examples, and useful exercises. I found it especially helpful in building my transcription and listening skills. The pace was manageable, and I liked that I could learn at my own speed.

I appreciate the free course. I have a lot of material I'm juggling right now career-wise, and it helped to have this quick intro/overview before going in-depth with further courses. There are some eyebrow-raising moments though. For example, in Section 3, "Transcribing heavily accented audios," (audio?) you have tip #1 down as "Listen." Obviously a transcriber is already trying to listen and even if they weren't, the term "listen" is too vague. (I suspect that's why no one wrote a note there.) The useful advice you gave under that section was to picture the words. I think "Picture The Words" would have been a better title for that section. In other cases, some of the explanations were a bit more convoluted than they needed to be or they could have been simplified (such as having comparison charts for different grammar forms rather than separate examples of each, as it helps to see each of a group of related options side-by-side). I also found it ironic that the "Effective Time Management" video spent so much time on #1 when there was so little to discuss/show. (I never jump ahead, but I did speed up the video here because I already have a home office set up and extra time was spent on points that don't apply to me.) Again, these quibbles are no big deal. Learners can compensate for these things. Just some constructive feedback. Thanks for the course!

This class proved to be well organized introduction to transcribing. What can be expected. It was nice to have a refresher in grammar and punctuation. I can’t believe things I’ve forgotten. Also, I learned parts of speech I never knew. This was very good. I appreciate the tips on time management at the end. I always appreciate being reminded to manage my time working remotely and staying on task. If you are brand new to transcribing or are thinking about this as a career path, this is an excellent course. Thank you.

This course was very good. It was easy to understand with whiteboard animation. It was very informative full of tips and provided so much value for a free course. However, at some points during the course I felt that the pace of narration was too much to understand. I had to pause the video few times. But I am satisfied with what is being presented. Thanks

This was a good match for a free beginner course. Although it was alot of information at a swift pace, it was nice to be able to do this in my home environment, rewind-repeat. have an idea of what I need to focus on and refer back to my archived course when needed.

I found this course to be very informative. It gave plenty of information for me to refresh my knowledge of the field. I really loved the fact that while, in depth, the language portion gives you a refresher course. The tips it gave on how to be effective in transcribing were right on point.

Yes it is very intriguing. This course was everything I needed for a course to update my abilities to return to
the world of work after being out of work for a while. I now have the confidence to continue the rest of my
educating to return to employment: in this modern computerized day and age.

It was great. The only glitch was the speech rate was too fast which seemed to work like a blessing in disguise to go back and forth just like a transcribing assignment.
