Lots of information to digest, however, just text with slides and a lot of very abstract concepts. Would have been nice to have more images, illustrations, etc. to get a better understanding and keep being engaged. Also more practical examples in work life would have been great.

The course was really useful in providing a framework for my thinking processes which have yielded results but thoughts were so unorganised my brain map must look like a spaghetti junction! It has helped to put into a clear perspective the structures of System Thinking, and given me what I needed to transfer information into diagrams to illustrate thinking and change processes.

I recently completed Matt Barnett's Systems Thinking Practitioner course, and I must say, it has been an enlightening experience. This course stands out for several reasons, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of systems thinking. One of the most appealing aspects of this course is each lecture's concise and clear structure. Matt has a knack for distilling complex concepts into short, easy-to-follow sessions. Despite their brevity, the lectures are packed with depth and detail, ensuring learners thoroughly understand each topic. A highlight for me was the integration of NLP mental models. Matt skillfully weaves these models into the curriculum, providing a robust framework for understanding and applying systems thinking principles. This approach enriches the learning experience and offers practical tools that can be readily applied in various contexts. The practical, tangible examples used throughout the course are another strong point. Barnett effectively demonstrates how systems thinking can be applied in real-world situations, making the concepts more relatable and easier to grasp. These examples help bridge the gap between theory and practice, enhancing the overall learning experience. Furthermore, the course layout is exceptionally well-designed. Its structure keeps you engaged and motivated to continue studying. Each module builds on the previous one, creating a seamless flow of information that fosters a deeper understanding of systems thinking over time. Matt’s Systems Thinking Practitioner course is a well-crafted, insightful, and practical program that I highly recommend. Whether you're new to systems thinking or looking to expand your existing knowledge, this course offers valuable insights and tools that are sure to benefit you in both personal and professional contexts.

A very theoretical insight that makes the decision making process clear with a clear link an correlations to systems which are in place but we normally don't take note of it. Definitely get my vote as an excellent practical course

By Anush Khachatryan on 4/20/2022

Interesting, not only with theoretical insights, but also with practical advises and examples. There is one small issue with the summary of Section 3, which is called Section 2 as well as in the audio it mentioned "let's move to Section 3" instead of ".... Section 4".

By Björn Bredenkamp on 2/2/2022

There is a lot of theory to comprehend. One needs to watch each video snippet over and over again to fully digest the essence. However, if you study the content a lot and make those connections for yourself, you can gain a great understanding of the (dynamic) complexity of the system(s) we live in ;-)

I'm mainly writing from the perspective of a colleague, so let me tell you this: There are lots of online courses about Systems Thinking out there If you would have to pick only one course on Systems Thinking, I recommend you to take this one. Even as somebody who is familiar with the whole topic for quite some time and to quite some degree, you still may discover aspects you didn't know. The course is very comprehensive, covers lots of topics straight to the point and delivers quite some examples of everyday life. I was thinking of doing a Systems Thinking course on Udemy myself, and now I wonder if there's still any need to do so. I have to thank my kindred systems thinking spirit for creating this course, that is so easily-accessible that anybody can take a sneak-peek into the matter. Even if you're completely unfamiliar with the topic and maybe not even interested, you still can benefit from this course and the Systems Thinking perspective in general, since it can greatly change the way you see the world, letting you see and experess more different aspects to any situation given. So this is my warm recommendation to anybody who comes across this site: Take this course!

Sound is very well recorded, course well prepared, short an engaging lectures. And interesting topic I don't see elsewhere so far. The only thing is accreditation: It seems to me that the owner or iGxxx is the instructor himself. Nowhere else on the whole internet is this accreditation body used, only in the instructor's courses.

As always Matt is excellent at crafting out the very very best training component for personal growth that encapsulate the essence or if you will the VALUE of Personal empowerment to becoming your true self. And as you approach this lecture series, you might even find yourself getting drawn to some of the incredible historicity that matt so eloquently delivered especially at the end of this course. So, if you are serious about your own personal growth as a Coach and value that of your clients, your might even find this lecture a go to set of tools for a very, very long time. Excellent job Matt.

As usual with Matt’s courses you get quality information. In my view for NLP, CBT and Coaching are by far the best. I will be re taking this course again as it’s going to take some time to fully digest. A course well worth taking, especially if you have taken Matt’s other NLP courses.
