Very basic, very scripted, no nuance or resources that can't be found in the Rails docs.

By Eric Thomson on 5/2/2024

The expectation that rails is installed on your machine is a poor expectation for an intro level course.

By Shivani potnis on 7/10/2022

it was going bit fast to catch but information is good for getting with ruby on rails.

By Nishaad Daniels on 5/20/2021

Good variety of content is covered and explanations are well put. However, many sections feel like some stuff was skipped and that a video was lost in-between. Overall, it was an informative experience for a short and free course.

By Chandini S on 11/11/2020

This was really good for beginners. This will give you some basic ideas about Ruby on Rails

By Garry Hyman on 10/26/2020

Good overview and introduction to Ruby on Rails. A little hard to understand the instructor sometimes though.

By Stephanie Schustermann on 9/22/2020

By Michael Chand on 8/25/2020

Good video if you already know the MVC design pattern and just want to know how to get one project started in Ruby on Rails.

By ABINASH SHAW on 7/14/2019

it was nice going through this course a useful resource for beginners

By Sourav Goswami on 2/21/2019

The course is free, that's great. But you could do better tutorials for free :) I know Ruby (and I make games with Ruby), so I understood what you say. I haven't completed all your lectures though, because the talk will not help and waste my time. You can read a book out loud and make the video! So, we need some real world examples like how to write rails application from scratch! Thank you.
