Ionic 2 Tutorial with Two Complete Apps (Udemy.com)

Instructor masters the subject. This is mostly a code walkthrough. The samples are clearly explained. I think the course meet its objectives.

The course seems good at first, but once you get more into it, the examples stop working, it's quite outdated and the instructor has stopped replying to comments. Whenever (if ever) it gets updated it might be good.

This course is interesting, but you have to know angular 2 before take it. Fortunately I'm taking an Angular 2 course, so now I can understand better. He explain everything his doing but he doesn't explain in a didatic way. I'm just watching so I think till now I'm satisfied with this course. Let see when I try writing down all this code.

I would give this course a higher rating if the instructor updated it for the RC0 release of Ionic. Instead the course goes over how to use outdated or non-existent plugins. It has promise but until there is an update it just isn't worth the time or money.

As most people already stated, it is a little outdated. There are some remarks regarding the new version of Angular and Ionic but still a few changes you have to figure out yourself. Besides that it's a very nice tutorial. Sometimes a bit fast but since it's a video you can simply pause or jump back. So that's really not an issue.

Best Ionic 2 course out there! Code on the videos is not in the last version of Ionic but with simple look through the ionic docs will find the way out.

It is based on an old version of ionic 2 beta. I have to check documentation every time to find out what are the new commands. Consider update your course at least to the latest beta that is close enough to the RC version.

The examples are great though, and they help grasp concepts that go little further than plain introductory courses. ionic 2 and angular 2 are technologies in constant change, hence a course like this needs constant update.

It is pretty early but so far I find the instruction goes too quickly and the instructor leaves a lot of direction out - eg. "now, go to the add.ts page and do such and such.... Also, I do not see what URL he is using when he runs the server ad checks that the app works. Somewhat frustrating for the time being.

This project is too complex to be a good learning tool for for users that are new to Ionic 2. The instructor moves very quickly through the code without taking time to explain the fundamentals. The course should be targeted toward people who have used Ionic 2 before, and want these two apps as a starting point for another project. The apps themselves seem to be coded well, and would be valuable in the right hands. I will need to learn Ionic 2 from other sources in order to better understand the code he provides.
