IT Management: Essential Principles and Skills (Udemy.com)

A good overview of what a new IT manager needs to know and what to look out for. The drawing and clear calm speech made this course really easy for me to follow and focus on. Reduced half a star for having no updates after 2018 but only a half, because of the level of generality the content doesn't really expire.

Not my type of course taking. I prefer courses with documentation to show on how things look like, receive more life-like experiences during the courses. This was all story telling like with a graphic designer to fill up the course. I really do think the story teller has a lot of experience though.

At 2st I wasn't sure of the style of video with the writing everything out but as the course went on I rather enjoyed it. Good pace lots of info and spoken clearly. I recommend it to anyone

The bulk of the content was helpful and practical. There were a lot of spelling and grammatical errors that were distracting. Overall, I felt like this training was a good use of my time, and I pulled out a few key actions to take with my team for evaluation.

This got my full attention after the teacher says. "Are you still doing the work of your former position" "More than 30 mins a day" My answer is\was yes... "Then you are not doing the job of a Manager..." Got me taking all the notes now.

I want to move into an IT leadership role and believe this course is a great resource that will help me succeed, once I do. Packed with helpful information that helps me understand key things I'll need to do to be successful. Enjoyed the class.

Uitstekend high over inzicht in de topics waar je aandacht aan moet besteden als je een IT manager wordt. Een uitstekende mix van inside kennis en oog voor de uitdagingen die je als aspirant manager voor geschoteld krijgt.

Content is useful and topics covered are relevant. Though it feels a little generic and lacks real life examples. The animation format is distracting when it is used on all the lectures across the course. Delivery could be more engaging had the expert behind the course be part of the video clips.

This course is a brilliant exposé for any IT Manager. It does not simply focus on technical issues but also touch on how to build the right communication and relationships in a professional way to succeed. I particularly appreciate your including the CD's and RGEs section. I will recommend this course to even seasoned IT Managers as it offers them an opportunity to brush up on their people, processes and procedures.

I loved the course and the explanation given. The visual aids provided such a deep understanding. I would be better next time to attach a certificate/transcript of taking the course that can be attached to Linkdlin . Hoping to have more courses related to IT management such as business analysis etc.
