  This course on professional makeup will help you master many important techniques that professional make-up artists use to create contemporary looks in their everyday work. After completing it you will be able to enhance your own or other women’s beautiful features, disguise minor faults in one’s appearance and express yourself creatively.

  The course consists of 30 video tutorials and is designed so that you can master all the techniques gradually, starting from relatively simple techniques and then moving on to the more demanding techniques. 

  From this course you will learn how to: 

  • choose your tools, take good care of them, and use them for best results; 

  • use color theory principles when choosing colors in make-up when working with different people;

  • use different types of foundations to make skin look flawless;

  • contour and create the illusion of depth on the face and a more sculpted look with makeup;

  • slightly adjust the shape of eyebrows and enhance their beautiful shape with makeup;

  • correct various eye shapes and master many eye make-up techniques that will make eyes stand out;

  • work with different types of lip products to correct lip shape, create lasting results, make them stand out, or remain more subtle (to make eyes look even more expressive). 

  It will take around 10 hours to go through all the video tutorials. Remember, to acquire new practical skills, it is crucial to apply everything you learn in practice. It might take you up to 20 hours to do all the makeups at least once on yourself or on your model(s). However, for best results, it is recommended to do each of the makeups at least 2-3 times. Therefore, mastering all the techniques of this course might take you up to 60 hours.

She is clearly very knowledgeable, but as someone who has no knowledge of makeup, I found it a bit hard to follow - for example, there’s a whole section on determining your own skin tone, but I still have no idea what my skin tone is.

This make up course is a bit intense and complicated for BEGINNERS. It's too much and should be a bit simpler for the person who wants to simply do their OWN face. Maybe it should be separated from those who want to do make-up professionally and want to start, and those women who want to do their OWN faces. Also, one observation is, this course is NOT designed for woman of color. It is very Eurocentric. NOT even ONE model in this training is a woman of color, to demonstrate make-up for women of color. All of the models and pictures are all for European women. Women of color may pick up some basic tips , but I would NOT recommend this for a woman of color. It is NOT designed to target or help the woman of color make up her face.

I decided to take a make up course out of necessity, rather than genuine interest, but I stumbled upon Lana. Her delivery was so convincing that it turned out to be a pleasure to watch. She is not only professional, she is truly a warm and caring person, and one can feel it through the screen. Awesome!!!

This course is great. very detailed and easy to understand. The trainer delivered the class in a very practical and efficient manner, and her explanations were clear and easy to understand. There are also a lot of tools or material in this course to help you learn and improve your makeup skills. But I noticed a lot of makeup techniques or products aren't in this course, so maybe this was taken 10 years ago. For example, the makeup primer and cream blush aren't there.

The model is a child! I would need to see people in older age bracket with actual wrinkles etc so that the makeup make sense to me! these child models have nothing wrong with their skin!
