Doug presents differing views to the meaning of life. It's instructive seeing what you don't believe because it reinforces what you know to be true. Only the first lesson but it's a great course so far!

right from the start one is brought into the lecture of meaning and is backed up by psychotherapy and various points of view from people across history and how we search for meaning. an interesting and captivating start. the whole course is inspirational and practical with exercises and quizzes to find oneself and look at what you want. participation is a must. most enjoyable course I have done.

4 stars overall, the teacher was very authentic and presented the course material in an easy to understand way. The rating lost one star for excessive bible quotes.

I think the course was very good. Some great content. Well constructed. Also some great resources provided. I would have rated the course a 4.5 or higher but, there was too much religious reference, especially in the last section. This should have been kept out. The course is about self development and life purpose, not about Christian religion as well. It detracted from the course content. I respect the author has his own certain religious beliefs and convictions, but it is not the same as everyone else's. So unfortunately I have downgraded my rating to 4.

I would have given it four stars however section 5 is complete and utter tripe! Full of god this and god that. This course should come with a god warning!

Goals are clearly stated. Dr. Hagedorn has done a vast amount of research and offers so much of his knowledge to us so that we can learn beyond just the title of the course.

This course is great! Doug has really put in the work to bring us very useful information to guide us in determining what we want our legacy to be. The course also includes extensive handouts, relevant worksheets, and even the quizzes are useful. Bravo and thanks.

This instructional material is so chock full of information and resources that I find it valuable to go over them again and again. They help to objectivize my journey. Good food for thought.

It definitely gave me something to think about. I would have to ask myself what does happiness look or feel like to me which would lead me to thinking about what is in my box called meaning of life that I put up on the shelf in my closet. As I open it up the first thing that jumps out is contentment. At my age, as I have lived through many stages of life, it is important that I finish my life well.
