Hi, my name is Dr.Jeff Petroff, and I'm thefounder and CEOof MedScreen We area medical information platform, focused on preventative medicine, skeptical medicine as well as lifestyle health.
MedScreen is an organization with people from a number of fields including conventional medicine, emergency medicine, sports medicine, and alternative/holistic medicine. We work with a diverse technical team as wellto developcourses that are easy to watch, understand and implement.
As I worked my way through medical school, Irealized the incredible gap in knowledge and implementation with respect to preventative medicine, as well as the lack of diversity in treatments. Doctors often prescribe pills that smother symptoms, while not looking at the source of the disease. Alternative medicine can often be deceiving and not evidence based, however this is not true for the entire field. There had to be an approach that took a multifactorial approach to healing and health, while remaining evidence based, and this is what I set out to write/teach about.
I am extremely passionate about informing people, and arming them with the necessary tools and skills that they need to make informed and evidence based decisions about their health. While I was a student in medical school I founded my company MedScreen, which is a company dedicated to make relevant information understandable and accessible to as many people as possible.
