I'll be in the minority by giving this course medium praise. While this course does provide a detailed explanation of recognizing price action patterns, the real magic comes from identifying those price action patterns in real-time and then making profitable trades. So, this course is like having the play-book for a football team. You can recognize the plays, but it's a long way to intelligently employ those plays at the right time and situation to win the game. As the author says, a single candlestick pattern, by itself, is insufficient signal to take a trade. The consideration of the candlestick pattern, along with the context, becomes the golden ticket. The author touches upon this, but doesn't extensively develop this topic. Furthermore, what makes price action somewhat frustrating is, two people can look at the same chart, and both identify different and valid price-action patterns from that chart. The author never discusses how he identifies one particular price action pattern, over another candidate. This course will certainly help you on your price-action journey. However, don't expect to have the knowledge to price-action trade from this course.
